I am very pleased with these cameras. I currently have 11 cameras set up in my yard. And have been using them for about 6 month now. I own a construction yard and can see everything that is going on. Set up took me about a day. I do a lot of wiring for work so it wasn't difficult for me. I ran wire through my attic and i made sure to label each wire for it set camera. If your not inclined i would recommend hiring someone to install. I plan on add an external hard drive so my recoding go back longer right now i can go back about 2 weeks while its recording 24/7. I chose onwote because of human detection and motion detection. Over all i am pleased with my cameras. Tech support was helpful also, responded back to in a timely fashion. I constantly look at them on my phone as well as the monitor that i have solely for that purpose. Oh one more thing i added the PTZ camera to my set and have it above one of my garage. The fact that i can move it with a touch of a button is pretty need and helpful. I plan on adding a few more, not sure that it would support a splitter so i dont have to run more wire. will follow up in a few months ... show more

I installed this system in my office. It was easy to install, and setup and the image quality is great. I have florescent lights in half the office and LED lights in the other half. The cameras in the parts with LED lights pick up the flicker of the LED's. I will have to play with the frame rate on those cameras to eliminate the flicker. ... show more

I saved at least $4k from having a "professional" install their system. The cameras are super clear, the eyeball camera I purchased separately works awesome, and the night vision has tremendous latitude - look at the photo attached (perfectly exposed even in the shadows.     • Do not buy
DO NOT BUY ONWOTE...I am not an IT guy, I am your average user/business owner. Don't buy Onwote. Their apps suck. All these youtube video's make it look great but none really go into the day to day use of the system. They all show you a small system with a small amount of cameras. I bought the 32 channel system (I use 23 cameras) and it is hard to find an app that will show you all the cameras on one screen without having to swipe to another screen to see the rest of the cameras. Then there is the issue of with that many cameras arranging the cameras in order. Most of these videos all say how easy it is to organize the camera location on the app, just click and drag. Well that's great but that is not the true order of the cameras. So just dragging the cameras to organize the location doesn't lock it into that location, when you shut down and restart the app or program on your computer the cameras will go back to their original random order. Also it records in that random order. So if you have someone you want to track from left to right from camera to camera you will have to pull out of full screen and go look for the next camera. The only way to lock these cameras into the location is to manually type in the IP address into a a camera channel. After that you think you are done but you are mistaken. The next power outage you have the IP addresses change and now most of your cameras will not reconnect without you going back into the system and basically doing a complete setup of plugging in the IP addresses again. My camera system is at a business an hour away so this is a major headache for me. Again I haven't seen any youtube videos post that really go into the headache of using the system. The cameras are great resolution and I bought mine for the amount of cameras and the stated ability to increase the hard drive size to 40 gigs if I found I needed more. The cameras have audio recording but I find that audio is "ok" at best. Audio sounds like your in a long hallway, it picks up the loud sounds but it's hit or miss on the low sounds. The next headache is customer service. Again all these youtube videos give great reviews of the customer service. The thing with the customer service is this, you are emailing someone in china questions and getting an email back a day later. China is asleep when we are awake and we are asleep when they are awake. So if you have a question or complaint that you need an answer to immediately to get this thing working well it's not gonna happen. Email your question out and go to bed, you will have an answer when you wake up. Plus all the help videos on their website are maybe helpful at best. This is the third camera system I've owned and I bought it because I watched all the same youtube videos you are watching and I didn't realize what the youtube videos weren't telling me. I thought that this system would act like my other systems and not give me all the problems I have described here. The actual camera system if nice it's just how you access and use it that is so horrible . Just the initial setup was not as user friendly or intuitive as you would think. and reading the instructions wasn't as helpful as you would think either.
