  • Great over quilt
Color: OD Green - 3 Seasons
Lightweight, warm and comfortable. Packs down well. A great option when you don’t need a higher temperature rating. I plan to use it on summer trips And when the temps don’t drop too low. I also plan to bring it along with my cold weather sleeping bag to test the temperature comfort range with this quilt and swap to my other bag if it gets too cold. ... show more

  • Worth the purchase!
Color: OD Green - 3 Seasons
Honestly, I can't really remember what I paid for this... BUT, we live in a 113 yr old house & our upstairs gets cold no matter what... so i got this for my son & he uses it when he's sitting at his desk playing on his gaming computer & he thinks it's perfect... it keeps his legs & feet warm, we've washed it like 10x & it still looks like brand new, and believe me - IF there were a complaint to be found, he would've found it (HaHa) cuz he's VERY particular about things. So, i'd say, whatever it cost (?) it was worth the purchase cuz it'll last a good long time! ... show more

  • Comfortable, Light and long enough for a 6'1" male
Color: OD Green - 3 Seasons
I have always used my sleeping bags like a quilt anyway, so I decided to forgo the added weight of having a zipper as I looked for something to add to my ultra light pack. I'm 65 and am tired of carrying more than I need, so have been working to pare down my 3 day bag to under 20 lbs. That was my motivation for purchasing this. Then COVID hit. Because I had to go to work every day, I decided to sleep on the couch down stairs and avoid needlessly exposing my 91 year old Mother or my wife if I accidently brought it home. I decided to use this on the couch, so it has been field tested only once, but has been used in my home continuously for over 6 months. Observations: It is very light weight, well constructed and durable. It is easy to wash (gentle cycle and fluff dry). At home, it is a bit warmer than I would like unless I keep the air conditioner cooler than anyone else in the house is comfortable with, or keep the nearest window (in cooler weather) open. In the field, I found it to be plenty warm. I used a light weight pad and wore a smart wool base layer pants and top with it, but found it to be quite warm and comfortable at around 40 Fahrenheit. I imagine some will sleep warmer or colder than I do, so take my temp recommendation with a grain or two of salt. Over-all, I do love this bag and would recommend it to a friend or relative. ... show more

  • Nice to have
Color: OD Green - 3 Seasons
This is my first experience with a "camping quilt" so let's begin with that. In case you haven't figured it out yet, a quilt is basically a sleeping bag without a zipper. Some have open foot boxes, some don't. I'm beginning to wish I had picked up the model from the other guys who have a footbox that opens. I've used this for warm weather tent camping as well as indoor overnighting while visiting cabins, campers, etc. Anytime the weather won't drop below 50F or so, this quilt is great. I like that since it's synthetic and not down like my sleeping bag, I can use it in situation where I or my environment will be dirty. I have machine washed it once and it seems to be just fine. I did manage to tear a hole in the footbox after several uses. I was able to stitch it back shut again without too much trouble but I was surprised that a hole formed after just at couple uses. If you're getting this and expect to ALSO use it as a sleeping bag doubler (as I was considering doing) maybe go with the unit that has the openable footbox. This quilt will wrap nicely around a sleeping bag and latch on securely, but you won't be able to comfortably stuff your feet in both bags together, if that makes sense. All in all, this is much more pleasant to carry when "camping" (staying somewhere) than a typical blanket or some jumbo walmart sleeping bag shaped object that takes up a ton of space. The stuff sack is OK, but I use a sea to summit dry bag instead. If you kneel on the thing while rolling up the top, the quilt can compress down surprisingly small, but still not nearly as much as a down filled unit. So yeah, nothing to get excited about. Hopefully it'll hold up for at least a few years of less-than-careful use. ... show more

  • Great for floor sleeping
Color: OD Green - 3 Seasons
Not using this for camping so I can't really say how well it performs for the temperature rating. I sleep on my floor and put this on top of a yoga mat. I keep my heat on around 66 degrees Fahrenheit and this keeps me warm through the night. I got this over a sleeping bag because they said it can be better for side sleepers and is less restrictive than a sleeping bag. This is the best-priced quilt I saw on Amazon and I'm really impressed by the quality. It's a great value. Great choice for floor sleeping minimalists ... show more

  • Warm and comfy
Color: OD Green - 3 Seasons
-1st and only topquilt -used on 3 nights over 2 trips -keeps you nice and warm, it's August in Michigan so weather drops a little at night. I slept in leggings the one night, then just boxers the other 2. With the underquilt this was almost to much warmth to fall asleep to, but kept me very comfortable in the middle of the night. -packs down nice. Easy to stuff. -super soft -love the foot box, not to cramped and keeps my feet under the blankets -on a digital bathroom scale come out around 4.5lbs. ... show more

  • Great for 3 season camping
Color: OD Green - 3 Seasons
Really enjoyed this. slept well, stayed warm. NOT for backpackers, this is inexpensive, and with camping gear you get what you pay for, and therefore this is going to be heavy compared to others. Reminder to anyone who doesn't already know... get an underquilt too. Sweet Dreams! zzzz

  • Meh ...
Color: OD Green - 3 Seasons
This quilt is kinda heavy for backpacking and is kind of thin, does not loft up like down. I do not trust the 30 degree rating ... cold sleepers be careful. Test it in the back yard before going far from safety...
