Over the years I’ve owned mid-priced earbuds from Sennheiser, Sony, Samsung, AKG, Soundpeats, and Avantree. [I’m a longtime Android phone user, so Apple isn’t really an option for me.] Some of the earbuds had great sound. Some have great battery life. Some are incredibly comfortable when wearing for long periods of time. Some are really good for phone calls. Some have really good noise reduction (whether because of ANC or simply blocking noise by tightly fitting into your ear canal). Some are really easy to place on or in your ears. What I learned is that what’s most important to me is really good sound for listening to music, really good clarity and background noise reduction when making phone calls, easy to place on or in your ears, and really comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The other attributes don’t need to be top-notch for my needs. Additionally, I’ve never been one to spend $$$$ to get any brand’s flagship earbuds. None of the earbuds I owned fit the bill for what was most important to me. So I went searching for a new pair that did. My online research led me to the OnePlus Buds 3 and I couldn’t be happier! …except that I paid $99.99 for mine and as I’m writing this review they’re currently on sale for $79.99 😊 The OnePlus Buds 3 have really good sound, really good call quality, are really easy to place in your ears, and really comfortable to wear for hours at a time. ... show more

They got here quicker than expected. They didn't come with any spare ear plugs but they fit perfectly. I have small ear canals so bear that in mind. They're supremely comfortable and they're beautiful - Apple watch out! The case is so precisely made that the pairing button is virtually invisible. I stumbled on it by touch. The sound is excellent. I'm hearing details I've missed on my speakers, headphones and other earbuds. It is rather bass forward so those who don't like that can eq it down a bit. Still, the detail and air are amazing. Especially at this price. They will faithfully reproduce sibilance but that's also easily eq'd. Don't know about the actual battery life as I've just got them but I doubt I'll need more than is available per the specs. The tap/slide controls are easily programmable from the My Melody app on the phone. They don't work flawlessly but no touch activated screen/interface ever is 100%. Very satisfied. I love the snappiness of the touch controls and the swipe gestures, and spatial audio... they are all above the soundcore liberty 4 nc but the bass response is not punchy enough for me

I have a OnePlus Open that I've been super happy with. Decided to try the OnePlus Buds 3 since it's the same company and holy moly am I impressed. Once I set these up to have 3D audio and also took time to do the "golden sound" profile, the output of these is amazing. I was listening to 80's songs like "Forever young" and "Take on Me" and they were delightful. Transparency mode could use some improvement as I can't hear the outside world unless it's very loud. ANC is superb. My main gripe is that the bass isn't punchy. I like to "feel" the thumps. It's borderline thumpy, so close. I also love the blue color with the metallic stems, it looks so good. I am very happy with this purchase, and can easily recommend these earbuds to any fellow android users. ... show more

Tldr; Buy for the music and great for indoor, at desk work. Not good for outdoor due to connectivity issues from interference, noise canceling is OK not great. Like the music is so good, is is like a high end earphone. I watched the opening scene of the drive movie, and my hearth was thumping. I could feel the helicopter whirring by, every single thing. Music: 10/5 ( its that good!) Ear fit: 4/5 ( light but can feel them) Controls: 4/5 Connectivity: 3/5 (Flaw) Noise canceling: 3/5 If you walk in a busy area, earphones repeatedly lose connectivity when a car passes by - never happens with my airpod pros. ... show more

I lost my case after a few weeks, and there's literally nowhere I can get a replacement case, and they don't sell them from the company store. :( So be careful not to lose your case, otherwise the buds become useless.
