It finally got to the point where I decided to buy new silverware so I chose Oneida because I had a few pieces left over from the 70’s that still look great. I bought this set for my aging mom, whose old silverware was looking bad. The new product looks great and is well made (good heft), but all the knives already show rust spots after only a couple of months of use. Not acceptable.

Oneida is a good old brand of silverware, we have a set that is probably 40-years old and still in good condition, only signs of some coloration, but still solid in form.
