The shoes are made of a durable material, yet still not too heavy, keeping your feet light and not weighing them down. I have a pair of 25" TSLs that serve me well. I picked for free a pair of 21" Tubbs and liked the length better for my weight than the 25" I have. But I didn't like the strapping on the Tubbs so I went looking for an inexpensive 21" snow shoe. I settled on these but when they arrived and I measured them, they were 25" even though on my order it said I was ordering 21". I also was able to get a look at the strapping and didn't like the quality of the material since I'm in the back country shoeing through rough terrain. I didn't trust that I would get a pair of 21" with an exchange. I just returned for a refund and found a snow shoe outside of Amazon but was able to use Amazon check out to get free shipping. ... show more

These snowshoes are very easy to get on and off, especially after you have all your straps adjusted to your shoes correctly. The poles expand and contract easily and maintain their settings and I like that we can use them for hiking during the off seasons. They are super light and good for long distances. We live in South Dakota where we get a lot of snow for several months. It is easier to grab our snowshoes and walk to work and these are perfect for the job. My first time buying snowshoes. I bought these as a gift for myself so that I could go snowshoeing with my daughter and I am so glad I did! Excellent product, durable and easy to put on and take off. The media could not be loaded. These snow shows are great! The quality is very good and the design is well-thought out. My husband wears a size 10 shoe and the 21 inch snow shoes fit him great. We also use the poles for when we hike the mountains on a regular trek. Definitely recommend!
