I'm a beginner snowshoer and have only gone once now but will certainly not be my last. I purchased these and am very pleased. They were very light and comfortable and easy to walk in. They came with the poles and carry case. My only issue was with the poles. I wasn't able to switch the "feet" of them for some reason and the pole slipped a a couple times but am very happy with the quality and pricing of them. Would reccommend! ... show more

I've been out on these twice now. I weigh about 175 lbs. This is a great product for occasional users who wish to travel on mostly flat ground. They were a bit stodgy in deep, fresh snow. Easy to slip on and off. I like how the poles telescope and fit into the bag. The gators are a nice addition. A similar choice at REI (at least what they had in stock) was $250. ... show more

We've done a lot of X-C skiing, but had never used snowshoes before. I imagined a weird, awkward gait in snowshoes. These worked perfectly, and weren't awkward at all. We bought because we realized that a few times renting snowshoes, if we liked it, would cost us more than buying exactly the right size right from the start. We loved it. After a number of years since cross country skiing was a viable option, I (at age 83) finally got to return to the deep snow, thoroughly enjoying the great outdoors on my new snowshoes. No slipping or sliding. Easy to put on and adjust. Bought two pair so I can have another person accompany me.

Liked the color of these snow shoes & the poles adjusted well with larger snow add on. Did not like how narrow & cheaply made the gaiters were....I'm thin...but, they barely fit my leg. Also, the adjustable cording at top ripped out before I even got outside. I am still not sure about the design of the claw part. The snow shoes made kind of a suction /walking on empty milk jug sound in use; which may have been due to that upper strap area kind of rubs against the webbing part. It may gnaw it's way through to ruin said bindings...only time will tell. The carry bag was barely large enough to fit the shoes (& they had to be put in just so)- I did receive a replacement when I sent 1st pair back...but, then was shipped a smaller size 21"! So, still trying to get it right. ... show more

Received these today. Beautiful snowshoes and well made, better than expected. You get everything that’s advertised. And for you ladies that have not so small calves the gaiters fit well with a little extra room to spare but not loose. I’m very pleased and impressed. Can’t wait to try them out when it snows. Super excited to finally have these as part of my winter gear.     • Too small for boots
Like the gaiters. Love the poles. Snowshoes need a little help. Wanted to wear with my size 10 boots (it is cold when snowshoeing) , but they are too large for the short toe strap. Had to move down to my hiking boots to get them to fit in. Plastic buckle mechanism is OK, but slips at times, and I worry about long term durability. Heel strap bucket has a very short peg - doesn't engage deep into the strap holes (held tight in my first 10 minute snow test). Shoes maneuvered fine in turns and hills (24" deep snow). Will see how they do in a few hour venture. ... show more
