  • Could be better
I had high hopes for this scale. I bought it because I thought that my cheap scale was not very accurate and I wanted a more accurate scale. I don't understand why when I take my weight, and then sync it with the app, the app always shows that I weigh about 0.2-0.4 lbs more. That just seems ridiculous that the numbers don't sync properly. My body fat seems to change from 39%-19% in the span of a few days. There's no way I could lose 20% body fat that quickly unless I got lipo. I wish! Skeletal muscle also changes every day by 6%. The mobile app is also really annoying in that it won't sync with another Omron product, the blood pressure monitor. I called Omron and they said that my scale was made for the US market, but the blood pressure monitor was made for the European market, so they won't work on the same app. They're all the same company. Just like an Apple iPhone purchased in the US works in Europe, I don't understand why they treat their products by region. That's a bad image for an international company. I bought both products from Amazon - one from US and the other from Amazon UK. The only reason I bought the blood pressure monitor from Amazon UK was that they were all sold out on the US page. Lots of room for improvement. Hopefully Omron can get some smart people to work on their app and fix all the bugs and make ALL of their products work with the app. ... show more

  • Keep up with weight
This scale is designed to work with the Omron app that tracks your health goals. It works and syncs well with the app.

  • Good scale with a sleazy app
The scale is nice but you can’t put your weight/percentage readings into Apple health without creating an account with the sleazy manufacturer who is clearly trying to monetize your data and send you ads for their health loyalty points program… and who knows probably sell your health data or contact info… very sleazy. ... show more

  • “They’re working on it”
Nice scale, but for some reason the app gives you a different weight than the scale. They’re supposedly working on it, but this seems like a basic and easy issue to fix. Not sure what’s taking so long. Maybe me putting this here will light a fire under their butts.

  • Can not connect with device
I heard that OMRON’s scale is so accurate. But the thing is the scale can not connect with the app(OMRON Connect). I try to use another phone and still not connect. So I ask them to sent a new scale and it’s still can not connect. I did call to OMRON Support they tried to help me connect through the phone for an HOUR and we can not connect it. I thing the problem is the app because the scale is working just fine. But you know I paid for accurate scale and can connect with Bluetooth but they can’t. So I’m kinda disappointed a little bit. ... show more

  • Works well
The scale does everything it claims, but I do have trouble syncing it with my phone> I also have an Omron Blood Pressure Monitor and I lose the connection with that also from time to time. Maybe it's my house, I don't know. I was able to connect with bluetooth when I first opened the box, but I haven't been able to connect since. I know others have had this problem. As for the ease of use, it can't get any easier. Press the on button with your toe, select your profile (if more than one is in there) and step on and wait for the beeps. It will cycle through all the different readings and repeat itself until you press the on/off button with your toe. Note that so far for me anyway, you can only turn it off or on with bare feet or use your finger. I haven't been able to do it with socks off. ... show more

  • I like the bluetooth uploads
Since I already own an Omron BP monitor that connects to my phone using their OMRON connect app. The data from the scale uploads from the scale in my bathroom to my phone in my bedroom with no issues. I do have to manually then transfer the weight to my GARMIN connect app but that is easy enough to do. Still it would be nice if there was some automatic way to have it do the transfer. One thing I like about the OMERON connect app is how easy it is to export the data. In my case I export the BP readings to a PDF document that I can then upload to my Doctor via their online portal. If Weight was something we needed to keep an eye on for health reasons that too could be exported just as easily. ... show more
