  • I really love this litter box ❤️❤️❤️
Size: Large Color: Midnight Black
The media could not be loaded. Update: It’s been a few mos now and I’m sorry I bought them especially how expensive they were. The first two were just over $60 each the second one had a $20 coupon that day I paid around $40. But here’s the problem for me… one of my cats is a big boy apx 15 lbs this litter box even though it’s the biggest one is still too small for him. luckily, I have tile floors but I’m constantly having to clean up P from the plastic lip of the litter box onto the tile floor in front of the litter box. He tries he doesn’t fit in there. So it’s not the actual litter box if you have normal sized cats but if you happen to have a tubby, it’s not going to work.. Original review: I have several cats and for years I’ve had the litter robot. Well they’re way past their warranty and when I bought the newer kind I had problems with it so I’ve been using the old fashion litter boxes where you have to scoop. It’s been a pain have to wear a mask and get out the safety glasses, so that dust doesn’t go in my eyes. I tried the litter made years before I bought the litter robot and I couldn’t stand how the rape got all caked up and I actually loved loved my litter robots and they were the first ones that came out and they lasted. Oh my gosh 15 years they finally quit. I bought off craigslist one of the newer litter robots, and now I know why they sold it to me because it had problems. I can’t believe it worked right for me to look at it but anyway I’m not going to spend that kind of money that litter robot wants for their newer version. Don’t like it. So now to this omega litter box, I saw my very first one a couple of weeks ago at Goodwill. I almost bought it but Goodwill wanted $15 for it and it was awfully dirty. I’m glad I didn’t buy it cause I came home got on Amazon and found the omega pet litter box and I saw they have an upgraded newer model that’s bigger so that’s the one I bought, I paid $60 for it. I just bought it last week. Jan 2023 this is not a vine review I didn’t get it free nor will I give a five star review for anybody you can’t buy my reviews they’re honest from the heart so this was too complicated for me to put together myself so I called over a friend of mine and I told him it’s very important that you snap that sifter incorrectly or it’s going to keep popping out because that’s what the bad reviews say and I read one of the reviews were the guy couldn’t understand because he wasn’t having any problems but when he tried to duplicate the problem and he didn’t have it snapped in correctly yes it kept popping out so my friend made sure that he put it together correctly. I took two videos, one of my cat 13 using the litter box and then another one of me tipping it and rolling it but Amazon would only let me upload one video so I left the one that shows how easy it was to tip it from side to side I did not lose out any litter on the floor. It was easy I could do with one hand and hold the phone, which made it a little more awkward I’m elderly, and I have arthritis in my hands, but I had no problems my cat that use the litter box is 20 pounds he’s a big boy I did not have any leakage he used it just fine. So it’s roll it to the right till you hear the clump fall into the drawer, and then I rolled it to the left, and then slid it back by the wall. It took me five seconds. I am so happy I have four cats so I wanted to see how I like this and I love it so I will buy two more of these Omega’s. the reviews where they called him cheap. Yes they might be cheap, but they work and I’m tickled pink for the price. It’s a good deal. Thank you for reading. Blessings to you, your family and friends. ... show more

  • Good product but the cat isn’t a big fan
Size: Regular Color: Grey
The product is compact compared to the regular litter box. It takes up less space and also holds in the smell. Unfortunately the cat isn’t a big fan. My cat is pretty slender so inside he takes up about a good chunk of space. He has restricted room to turn inside and when he walks out he has litter on his paws that tracks on the floor. When he poops in the box it sits on top of everything and would need to be cleaned before his next bathroom break. This is kind of inconvenient considering he won’t even pee in the box either. Luckily, cleaning the box is easy and even has a side compartment that shifts out clumped litter which is pretty cool and makes cleaning easier. The product is somewhat high maintenance. ... show more

  • Ok, not great but not horrendous
Size: Large Color: Midnight Black
It works mostly. Just like EVERYONE is saying, the plastic is super flimsy. So are the clips. It hasn't broken yet, but I imagine it's going to break before I change the box (I buy a new box every few years). As far as ease of use, you literally just roll it and it deposit the prezzies in the little scooper. I've noticed that the clumps are too big for the scoop sometimes, which makes a mess pulling it out because it scrapes on the opening. Gross lol. The area available for your cats to use isn't exactly massive either. Half of the box is the sifting system, so even though I bought the bigger size deliberately because I've got a fatty kitty she's definitely a lil smooshed in there. One cat is about 10lbs and slim, my fatty is 13 but she's a Siamese and is only supposed to be like 8lbs so she's quite. . . Round lol. Both use the box though. My fluffy cat also has this awesome habit of using the same exact spot in the litter box to urinate, which super saturates the litter in that spot and the clump winds up super glued to the back corner up against the grate. Soooo I have to go in and break it up with a scooper but what that means is the grate gets dirty too and it's a b and a half to try to clean it. However. I'm lazy. So lazy. I cannot even articulate exactly how lazy because that's too much work. I love that I literally just give it a roll, slap the bottom a few times, and yank out the scoop and litter box is (mostly) clean. It's soooo much easier than scooping daily, and it's a massive time saver too. I used to have a litter robot and obviously that's better, but I left it behind when i moved because I didn't have room for a spaceship of a litter box. Plus my chunky cat loves scraping her paws after she's done (quite the dainty lady isn't she?) and she ripped the lining up. Plastic boxes mean she can scrape to her fuzzy hearts content without destroying $600 worth of tech. Both of my cats like using the paw scraper actually, so I'm glad I got this version. Litter is everywhere still, haven't found a box that keeps the litter spray from happening but it's not really a Major concern for me. As far as smell, no door means no trapping the yuck. I prefer boxes with doors but this doesn't have one so no door for me I guess. When I notice it's stinking it's super simple to give it a roll and "scoop" twice a day or however many times I need to. my cats also have recently picked up the habit of not burying their presents (well actually the stray I rescued doesn't and he taught my chungus she didn't have to either. So thanks for that I guess lol) and rolling it also helps cover them in litter which helps them clump up and helps with the smell which is nice. Sometimes on super lazy days I'll give it a roll and just leave it up top because the scoop isn't full and rolling it coated the yucks so they don't stink anymore. Overall I'm... Pleased. I'll probably get another when it breaks, But for sure I will get the one that has the easy litter adding chute because I used to just use a little cup to scoop litter into the box to add it, so I figured why pay extra for something I don't need but the hole on this box is so small that it’s a massive pain in the butt to do that. I take the entire top off to add litter. Basically it's got a LOT of real negatives but the positives outweigh them at this juncture. We'll see how I feel when it breaks because for SURE it's going to at some point. ... show more

  • Easy to empty but leaks some litter
Size: Large Color: Brown
I got this right after I had a knee replacement so bending was hard. Rolling this litter box is easy but when I tapped on the base, which you need to do, my Apple Watch thought I’d fallen! I now tap with my other hand. The drawer is easy to empty. The only problem with the box is it leaks a little when I roll it. Also, I had a larger cat here (16 lbs) who had some difficulty getting her whole body into the box. My smaller cat had no problems. If you don’t mind sweeping the small amount of litter that leaks out when you roll it, I find this unit much easier than scooping litter. ... show more
