short but concise [visual] history of Omeg's most popular watches - not very detailed but loaded with lots of pics. worth the price.

  • Buy Only for the Photos
Omega is one of the iconic watch brands. Every serious watch collector owns or has contemplated owning a Speedmaster, Seamaster or Railmaster. This book consists of beautifully shot images of classic Omega watches with some technical detail about the watches. This book is purely eye candy. For many watch collectors that will be enough. However, if you are looking for a serious book about the Omega Watch Company, look somewhere else. ... show more

  • Typo
The book is fun and a good conversation piece. However, they wrote James Bond wore a “Speedmaster Planet Ocean 600m ,” which of course is an embarrassing typo, as that watch is a Seamaster. This undermines the credibility of the book. However, the rest is a fun read.

  • A book that is a list of models with pictures...
Okay book. More details would of been good. It is basically a list of models with pictures.

  • It's ok if you collect very expensive watches.
It covers only the very rare, expensive Omega watches. Like it says "Highlights". I feel there are some very good watches that are still highlights in the extensive life of Omega watches. It really wasn't for me. I will try to return.
