Description

Make your room come alive with the Flipper Farmington Aquarium Stand. This Aquarium Stand has the ability to switch between a 10 gallon Stand or a 20 gallon Stand depending on your tank size. Just pick which will best fit your needs and flip the stand to the correct base. The 20 Gallon Stand has a larger tank support while the 10 Gallon Stand has a smaller one so your tanks will fit perfectly from ledge to ledge. Aquarium tank is not included. This unit is not only versatile but also allows you to display your home décor and conceal your tank accessories. The tops and bases are finished with a tiered look, giving them a decorative accent no matter which way you flip the Stand. Made of laminated MDF and particleboard, the Stand features an off-white woodgrain finish that can be paired with any style and décor. Like most furniture that’s in this price range, it’s your typical particle board. That said, it looks nice, assembles easily, and is sturdy for our snake tank. It’s nice and deep for storage.

It looks very nice and was easy to assemble. The down side is the cam locks are super cheap and broke before it got to the lock position. Thank God I had others from an ikea one that where clearly more sturdy. So minus the very cheap hardware that broke it’s nice just be careful assembling it.

I bought this tank stand for my wife for her birthday. Intended on putting it together for her and everything but she couldn’t wait. Building things is not my wife’s strong suite. However, she put this thing together with ZERO help from anybody and said it was so easy! Needless to say I’m flippin impressed ALL AROUND. The stand is gorgeous, and sturdy. Aside from 100% particle board and paper-thin veneer, the product is heavy, seems sturdy and *should* hold the claimed weight of 660 lbs, which you will need for a fully loaded (tank, water, gravel, rocks, lights, filters, etc.) aquarium. That said, this type of particle board is subject to swelling if it gets wet, so make sure to quickly dry up any spills immediately. Now the bad... The packing material is extremely subpar. The styrofoam they used arrived crumbled and stuck to everything (static). The internal parts didn't have a chance of surviving shipment under these conditions. Not so bad in my case since most parts were internal or facing the rear, so I assembled anyway and figured I could just replace the two split facia board under the front edge. There's a prominent insert that begs for a "5-star" review, and if there's any issues or damage, contact them directly so "they can make it right". Yea, OK. Turns out the components I need replacing (basically wood) is "imported and takes 6-12 months to replace" - this directly from Customer Service. Their remedy is to "contact the retailer and return for a refund or replacement". Sure, I'll just drop it in an envelope and shoot it back to Amazon! At this point, I'll live with it and maybe get around to putting some real wood where it should be and staining to match. Also note, this is a tad wider and much deeper than a 55 gal aquarium. Not a big deal as you can use that space as I did to add holes so that needed plumbing and cords could pass through. So bottom line, if you get lucky and get a 100% non-damaged item, it's decent. Otherwise, don't even bother to build it hoping Customer Service will remedy any faults. They make great efforts in focusing on getting 5-stars. They should apply that effort to actions necessary to deserve it. ... show more

The stand is a great look for particle board and makes for a nice look in your home. It went together for the most part relatively easy. And seems to be sturdy as it’s holding over 500 lbs of weight nearly in water alone. The doors were hard to line up to make them match but finely came along.
