They have a weird taste on them

I use gloves for food prep and I licked some of my food off the glove and noticed it tasted really bad like chemically or something so I am afraid to use them again because I don't want whatever that is getting on my food 🤢 but other than that they fit perfectly and I use them just for cleaning now.
