I have always had a fireplace in every house I have lived in. Fast forward to this house; no fireplace. I live in a place where no natural gas is permitted so electric baseboard heat is the norm or propane. I wanted something that looked amazing & also could double as a heat source. This product delivers on both. It is very well constructed, the color is gorgeous & exactly what I wanted & the flames are so pretty. The capacity to change color & flame "speed" is an added bonus. This fireplace was delivered in 2 very heavy boxes. It was very well packed. The directions are all pictures so if you need written directions it will be a little more difficult. This took about 3 hours to put together but well worth the time. The cupboards also light up & when I put some keepsake things in there, I know they will look really pretty. This entertainment center is absolutely Beautiful. The Fireplace is soo realistic. I bought the antique white and the color is perfect. My friend and I put it together. It took us awhile but it was worth it. The directions were very good everything was marked by number. I already used the heat and it warms up the area quickly. I also love the color changing fireplace. And that it’s 3D. The price was great. We will enjoy this for many years to come. It’s very sturdy and I have a 65 inch tv on it. Don’t hesitate to buy it . There was a shipping problem that caused our order to arrive a week late. The seller communicated well and provided updated shipping info so weren't waiting in the dark. Sometimes stuff happens and they handled it well so we were satisfied on that end. It comes in two very heavy boxes so have someone to help you. The boxes were really well-packed with ample Styrofoam and everything arrived in perfect condition. The instructions were very easy to follow and all parts were marked with numbered stickers. There was no missing hardware and a bag of extra parts was included, which is nice. The included tube of white glue isn't nearly enough, we used Gorilla wood glue instead. My wife and I worked together and got it assembled in a few hours! It looks great! The glass doors look great and we like the lighted cabinets on the sides. The cabinets are soft-closing and the drawer hardware operates smoothly. The fireplace heater looks great and runs virtually silent, and it heats the space well. The included remote allows you to change the flame color, intensity, and speed. Once assembled it's a sturdy piece, but it goes together like most stuff from IKEA so we will move it with care when that time comes. We priced these at furniture stores and couldn't find anything comparable for less than $1000, so we consider this a great value. Highly recommended! (Our TV in the photo is 65") ... show more

This is a big DIY project. The flames are ok but do not look very realistic. I'm not a fan of the blue or red flames either but I did not buy it for that reason so I just don't use that feature; I keep the flames on yellow/orange. The adjustable heat output is nice. I d not like it that the lights in the shelving is also colored. I wish it was just white lights or I wish there was an option to turn off those lights. If that bothers you don't buy this. I'm ignoring since it's in a gues bedroom and I love the look of the fireplace cabinet itself. It is very sturdy and the doors are soft-close which is a bonus. ... show more

This fireplace is awesome I’m really glad I went with it .it looks amazing once it’s all setup . The remote is very simple to work looks just a fire stick remote.and Fire place heats very well. The instructions are clear and easy to follow . There’s a lot of pieces so it’ll take a while to put all together. I think it took me a little over 3 hours .
