I love this specific charcoal detox because I feel like I’m literally detoxing my hair. I wash my hair 2 times a week so my hair can get pretty oily and dirty during the week. This stuff is powerful. Charcoal is magical. I don’t know what it is but i see now why it’s used it in so many different cleaning products. This is my third dry shampoo I’ve tried and by far the best. My hair actually goes from looking oily to just washed. The smell is pleasant. My hair doesn’t get oily again for several days, much longer than when I wash it with water and shampoo. Not sure why, but it does. Regarding the white residue, it is there. My hair color is blonde though so I can’t hardly tell. Also, brushing it after spraying helps even it out. Im not sure if this would work for black hair though, considering the whitish powder. ... show more

I was very excited to try this but after using it I was left feeling lack luster about it. Don’t get me wrong it has it’s good points too and I gave it a few weeks try before reviewing it so I could be sure of how I felt about it. Negative: It didn’t really help my hair be clean looking without being dry and frizzy looking. Another thing that I noticed is it didn’t last long before looking dull and oily again. (Perhaps my hair is just the type that is more oily and doesn’t work with this dry shampoo). Positive note: It has a pleasant smell, it is easy to apply and the instructions are clear and easy to understand. My hair did feel soft after use and it didn’t leave any white residue on my hair or scalp. I also liked that it didn’t make my scalp itchy like other dry shampoo I have tried in the past. This dry shampoo is pretty good! It does what it says it does and has been very handy for my hair. It smells pretty nice and makes my hair feel softer too. I haven’t observed any damage from using it for over a month either. I do recommend it!

I like this dry shampoo (charcoal variety) much better than others at this price point. I have fine, oily, waist length hair and only wash 1-2 times per week, so my dry shampoo has to be tough. It does leave a slightly white residue but I have platinum hair so it doesn’t matter. The only downside is that it kind of smells like a papaw cologne, but I’ve gotten used to it. ... show more

This dry shampoo is amazing! I have very thin hair and would have to wash my hair almost everyday. With this dry shampoo I can now go three days without washing my hair. It doesn't leave a lot of residue in your hair either.
