I am not over weight. I have a normal butt and this is too small for me. I don't know how any guests are going to sit on this! I guess if you brace your feet on the table rung it will help you sit. I wouldn't want anyone frail or even slightly overweight to sit on these because the legs are not wide at the bottom and feels jiggly. Besides that, no overweight or heavy person, or average man (for that matter) could enjoy sitting on these. It took so long to come, and there were about 8-10 shipping issues that I honestly thought this was fraud, however I did end up getting it. With the $75 shipping rate, I would just go to a store and see what is there and try before buying. I'm keeping mine because it will work okay for me. The table size was exactly what I needed but the seats are small. I’m not a small woman so trying to sit comfortably on the stool with the back rests on was uncomfortable. It didn’t support my bigger bottom. I felt like I could only get half of my bottom on it. I ended up turning the seat backs upside down and now it’s easier to sit on. I would’ve just left the seat backs off but they have to be connected for the seat part to fit correctly. No big deal, it just looks a little funny. I think the table and stools are pretty sturdy. The color is spot on. I didn’t buy this table for everyday use, but I feel like it would hold up really well. I did pay more than I wanted because I didn’t pay attention to how much shipping was. I guess I’m spoiled with Prime free delivery that I didn’t even notice it was almost $40, I probably wouldn’t have purchased this if I had noticed. But that was my fault so I kept it anyway. I put a lot of things together and this was probably one of the easier things I’ve done. The round circle foot rest thing on the bottom of the stool was a bit tricky, but not too bad. I would recommend this table if you are not on the chunky side like myself and if you don’t mind the extra shipping costs. Pay attention to the dimensions. The table is long and narrow. This piece looks really good and is a great fit for small homes. It is kind of difficult putting the stools together… it felt like some of the screw holes were aligned properly. The seats are small making prolonged sitting very uncomfortable.

Had worried about ordering this from afar, but finally made the leap and happy I did. It is just as all the positive reviews said, solid pieces for the cost. Love it has padded seats (true, maybe not ok for large persons). I put it together easily.     • Easy assembly and substantial

The box arrived with punctures in each side and other damages. I was very blessed that the product was well packaged and that the punctures were not an issue! One was buffered by the foam insert and the other went through the circles of the chair bottom. It's now completely assembled. The chairs could use more stability with staying upright maybe with flaring out of the lower legs, otherwise, all else was well aligned for assembly and is well made. SUPER CUTE! Perfect to fill the 46 in spot I had. My husband and I assembled it in about 45 min. The stools took a little more effort to align, just make sure you don’t tighten everything fully before tightening the screws, as you might need to wiggle it to align them.
