    • Good, cheap alternative to a full candelabra.

I purchased 2 of these and currently use them in 750ml Kraken rum bottles. They work great proportionally for this size. With the whitish translucent rubber on the stopper these sit tightly in the mouth of these bottles and do not wiggle around as some reviewers report. I covered this rubber piece with black sharpie to make it less noticeable. They feel solid in fit and design. The taper holders themselves are of substantial size with an adequate cups to catch the wax and are unfortunately not aligned very straight. Like most holders, they are slightly larger than many tapers and require fitting putty, tape or the candle to be melted/formed to fit in them. While it's possible to bend each cup to straighten them out, the risk of breaking off the cup from the stem exists and is the greatest flaw of these items. Overall a good, cheap alternative to a full candelabra. ... show more

    • Clever idea - wine bottle necks aren't standard so won't fit every one the same

Doesn't fit every size wine bottle. The stopper that goes into the wine bottle is tapered, and of the three wine bottles I tried it with, it only fit all the way in one of them. Unfortunately it wasn't the one I wanted to use it with. That said, I wanted it for a fall centerpiece and I'm still using.     • Great Way to Re-purpose a Wine Bottle

I was skeptical that this would hold up or be as nice as it is. But it is really pretty and super easy to put together. Just pop it into an old wine bottle and you're done (besides putting in the candles, of course). The holders were a bit larger than the candles we had but we just melted some of the bottom of each and we were good to go. We live in a small apartment and I really like that I can put in away in the box it came in easily and store it until our next party or candle lit dinner. ... show more

Rubber cork stays well in the bottle. We put fish gravel in the bottom of wine bottles to keep them from falling over. A little top heavy. With some of ours the middle candle holder was bent a bit. You can still stand the candle up straight though. Not sure if it was our candles or the holder but we had to use putty to get the candles to even stay in the holders. ... show more

I purchased 2 of these. They look ok at 1st and a nice even satin black finish. But actually trying to use them is a different story. All of the saucers under the candle cups are welded on crooked then the cups that hold the candle are also crooked making every single candle crooked and lean which then makes the candle sticks impossible to stay in and fall out. I've tried slightly bending them but couldn't. I'm only using them for a Halloween craft but I can't even get it to work. The plug that you place in a bottle to hold it is also difficult. I've tried several bottle types, several different wine bottles and it either slips too far in or too far out. It's been very difficult finding a bottle that fits perfect where I can still remove it for break-down after Halloween so I had to paint the cork/plug black to conceal it and hope after the candles are put in (which I will have to glue in to secure them) it won't topple over. ... show more

This fine candle holder in its simple design dressed up my kitchen in a flash.. I love wine too so it’s a fun way to show candles.. I dripped wax into the cups first to steady the candles and I added water to the bottle for stability!
