The rustic wood bases have a nice tone to them and the wire cages are sturdy. These sit outdoors on my patio table and have a solar candle and faux succulent in them. Within a few days of arriving, the larger wood base split. I expect that to happen with items that are made and shipped from humid climates to the dry desert where I live, so I just keep the crack turned to the inside. Very cool rustic farmhouse like set! Arrived early, well packed. One tiny sliver of wood fell off from wood base while unpacking, but easily fixed with a little touch up. Purchased a set of flameless candles for them. Look great on my farm table. Happy with my purchase.
