These are small so I bought 4 to use as a table top decoration. Real tea lights last only about 1 hour so I bought the 6 pack of LED flickering votive size lights by Best Home Decor on Amazon. The artificial votive lights fit easily into the sea lighthouse "tea light" holder if you squeeze them just a teeny bit into the back of the lighthouse holder. The bottom of the lighthouse holder can not be taken out so any candles must go in the slighter larger back space. You can easily put "real" votive candles in here with a little bit of space for the flame. ... show more

I needed it for a basket to jazz a gift up a bit, but definitely worth purchasing. It’s a bit pricey if you are trying to do a table scape but this is well made, pretty, elegant, and exactly how it’s pictured.

This lighthouse is small. It tells you clearly in the product description that it is 4.5 inches tall. I am not sure how some people seem to miss this and then rate a product badly because they do not thoroughly read the description of what they are buying. Come on people, not the lighthouse's fault here! That being said, I collect lanterns and this little guy was an add on to an order to push me into free shipping! I am gathering lanterns to hang in a tree as decor outside, so I really am not looking to ruin high-end lanterns here. This is perfect. I am not going to cry if the wind knocks it down and dents it or if it rusts a bit in the weather. Its design is cute and construction is typical for this price range. The product fits an LED tea light perfectly (no open flames in a tree) and provides a bit of a size interest when put with the rest of the gaggle of lanterns that will be hung this spring. This is the most beautiful piece I have in my bathroom, it has a rustic look, and I absolutely love it, I've went through several tea candles, no discoloration from burning the candles, it is perfect in size for my shelf. Money well spent

Just a suggestion…..only picture one of them and not two. It’s nobody’s fault but mine for not reading that quantity was one and not two like the picture shows. So now I gotta order another one but they are adorable and will go perfectly in a beach themed room.
