I used the Odoland visor helmet for 2 days of skiing. Both days were on the warm side (low 30s to mid 40s). The first day was clear and sunny, and the second day was cloudy/foggy with some rain. There was some strong wind particularly on the lifts. The fit of the helmet was very good. The size adjustment on the back of the helmet worked well. I have not had the problem others noted with the adjustment mechanism pulling out of the helmet, but I have only used it for 2 days of skiing. The ear pads pull out, but it is very difficult to pull them out, and the attachment points look a little flimsy. The padding inside the helmet could be a little thicker, but it is comfortable, soft, warm and breathable. The pad on the chin strap is a little thin. The visor works very well. It has a somewhat mirrored finish with a brown tint. It worked very well on the bright sunny day. I used it when it was foggy/cloudy. It made things a little dark in the fog, but increased contrast. I wish they had yellow visor options available. I wear glasses, and the visor worked well with them. The peripheral vison is great. It is almost like you are not wearing goggles. I did not have issues with fogging. I also did not have issues with the gusts of wind blowing into the visor. There was a particularly good seal when I had my balaclava under the bottom of the visor during colder parts of the days It was hard to see through during the rain, but not more so than goggles. I could also pull it up partially to shield my glasses during the lighter rain/mist (like a the brim of a baseball hat). ... show more

I took a chance and bought the helmet and am so happy I did! I now have to wear glasses while skiing and the visor system is the perfect combination for those who wear glasses while skiing. It's easy to flip up the visors and flip down when needed. Reminds me of my helicopter flying days and short of a major wipeout, the visor system is very effective in keeping out the snow. I wish they included a yellow high contrast lens and I actually found a distributor out of UK who had the matching visor I found on eBay. Friends also complimented how cool the helmet looks and it provides a very comfortable fit. I was between a medium and a small and opted for a medium so if it gets really cold, I can wear a balaclava underneath. I have a much more expensive paragliding helmet that costs 7x this helmet with a similar visor design. I would easily wear this helmet for paragliding as well! ... show more

Bought 3, small medium and large for kids 7 and 13 and for me 40+. Did not want to deal with goggles for the kids, more to get lost. Was worried about air and fogging, but it was not a problem. This helmet is awesome. Great fit and having the visor style goggles is super convenient when skiing! I can adjust them with one hand while actively skiing. (Something that's near impossible with regular goggles). Doesn't fog up and yes, I can wear my regular glasses at same time. 😀 (would love it if they made/sold with helmet a low light lens) ... show more

Being a glasses wearer that doesn’t like contacts I was looking to change up my winter gear to be more glasses friendly. Wearing goggles, even OTG, goggles were very uncomfortable so I researched other options. A lot of name brand helmets are hundreds of dollars and I wanted something that wouldn’t break the bank, so when I found this helmet I knew I needed to give it a try. The visor is easy to use, it sometimes fogs up but I have found over the helmet hoods help avoid that and neck gaiters were a little harder to use. So many people have commented on this helmet and asked where I got it. I do wish the visor came in different colors/tints but there are replacements from other brands that will work. This helmet keeps my ears warm and is very sturdy, I took a bad fall winter end of last season and this helmet not only saved my head but also my face and nose, totally slammed my face into the slope and avoided serious injury. So pleased with this purchase that this is my second helmet in a different color so I can have two helmets to use or lend out if need be. Love this product. ... show more

This helmet is comfortable. The sizing chart was helpful in picking the right size. The ear muffs have to be attached when the helmet arrives, but are firmly in their place after that. I used the helmet for two hours of skying in a mix snow-rain weather. The visor performance was underwhelming. Snow and rain was still getting to my eyes, possibly because the bottom foam is insufficient to form a seal around the face. But also there is a design flaw on the top seal: water kept dripping inside the visor to accumulate at the bottom foam, despite no visible gap. That water in front of your eyes is very distracting while going down the slopes. I was really looking forward to this helmet with integrated visor to improve my comfort level wearing correction glasses. I assume that in fair weather it will be a good helmet. But I will need to go back to regular helmet + ski googles for snowy and rainy days. ... show more

Great helmet at a very fair price. Already hit the ground once and it performed wonderfully providing protection without any bulk. The visor is great and extremely clear. I did initially pass on this product due to the review saying the visor was poor, however, after seeing the pic they added I can confirm that reviewer did not remove the protective cover from the visor. Yes, the visor will not be clear with the protective (shipping) cover on it - after that is removed - all is nice and clear. Love the fact that glasses fit comfortably underneath the visor. 5 Stars and highly recommended! ... show more
