  • Temperature adjustable 1000W RaceWax wax iron with a double-thick baseplate dimpled and grooved for excellent wax distribution. Temperature range of 80-170 C (176-338 F). 120 volts and 1000 watts, 60 Hz. North American model with standard plug. Two Large Brake Retainers (color may vary).
  • Swix Base-Side Dual Edge Tool. Dial a precise side angle from 0 degree to 5 degrees and base angle of 0.5 to 1.0 degree. Nine angles total. High-quality Swiss-made ICECUT metal file included; Brass file cleaning brush; Gummi Stone for removing rust, prepping/deburring/detuning edges; Medium grit diamond stone for routine edge maintenance and sharpening; Metal Scraper with vinyl storage sleeve; 1 Clear and 1 Black P-Tex rod.
  • Kit may come with either Racewax 120g Universal Wax by Toko or (2) 60g waxes; 5 mm thick tough plexi wax scraper with classic orange RaceWax logo. Complete 3-Brush Set: Brass brush for renewing base structure and brushing hard waxes; Nylon brush, the workhorse of wax removal; Soft, fine Horsehair brush for polishing your base! Each brush measures 3 in x 4.5 in.;
  • Large Cordura tool bag: Internal strap to secure wax iron; two internal open-access tool pockets and zippered mesh pocket; external quick access pocket; two carry straps with a velcro clasp handle. Roomy enough to add more items!

Great price for what comes with this kit. Easy to use, comes with everything you need to sharpen edges and wax your skis. Nice bag to put everything in. Seeing as though just the wax can be 40 bucks at a ski shop it is a great value.

I do not snowboard but I got this kit for my son and his wife who do the snow stuff in Denver where they moved. They loved the kit, the selection of tools, and the stuff they rub on their boards, or skis. I can't offer personal info but I got high marks for this present.

    • Works great for this season
This is my first ski waxing kit. I decided to do my own waxing this season. The kit is a good value. All component worked well. The iron works good although I did have to have the iron set a little higher than the wax temperature called for to make it operate more quickly. The metal scraper worked well on the ptex for repairing grooves in the ski base. All components worked as needed. You will need to purchase something to keep your scraper edge flat. I used the edge tuner at the end of the season but ordered a selection of diamond stone files to fit in the edge tool. The file provided for the tuner seemed a little aggressive. I haven't tuned skis in years and didn't want to drop hundreds on a Swix kit. The kit has everything you need except for a vice. The kit includes tools and wax from Swix and Toko. It's really a good value. The only thing that would make the kit better is a couple more PTEX sticks.
