I have an older dog that recently had an upset stomach that was leading to several messes on the carpet. No matter how well I cleaned the area with other cleaners it jist wouldn't come fully clean or get the smell out. It would always smell like I just was trying to cover the smell with a cleaner. Then I found this Odorban carpet cleaner. Now my carpet is actually clean and white again!! The nasty smell is gone. It smells fresh and clean in my house again. Very simple ot use just follow the directions for my camera cleaner and worked like a charm. The bottle is very large so it last for several cleanings. But I went and ordered a spare just to keep on hand since I loved it so much. It doesn't have an overwhelming smell to it which I love. Just smells clean and fresh ... show more

Worke great the product itself has no smell but leaves your carpets amazingly clean, fresh and odor free. Gets rid off spots and pet stains. It's great product with a great price.

Overall, the product works. I have a rescue dog that has pee'd on a section of rug. I spot clean it, but was looking for something to use in my spot-bot and larger Hoover wet/dry carpet vacuum. The mixture amounts are on the container for machine use. Following the measurements provided, I was less than thrilled. The next time I upped the amount of solution and got better results. I definitely found out that my rug was dirty! Lol! The only negative (in my opinion) is lack of any fragrance. It didn't smell like anything. I like using lemon/orange scented products, especially since I've read that they can be a deterrent for dogs. Adding a few drops of essential oil to the mixture didn't help. It's like the cleaner neutralized the essential oil fragrance. The large size of the bottle for $10.68 was my biggest attractant for purchase. And it is a great deal. As stated....it did clean the rug when used in both machines. It works as a manual spray cleaner too. Spray & put down a towel & then walk on the towel ....you can see it pulls out the dirt onto the towel. It dries over time....I suggest using a fan aimed on the area to speed the process along. I love the fact this product does not have a strong smell but it does smell good. It did great on the carpet. It worked with my bissell pet carpet cleaner. The product came the next day with Amazon prime. It was easy to use the The floor dried overnight. It was safe for my pets.

I bought this purely for the hope of getting rid of pet and kids odor from our carpet. Our carpet is 7 or 8 yr old builder grade carpet that has been through 3 different families with pets. High traffic areas are extremely worn, and there’s stains from long before we bought the house. I was absolutely AMAZED when it pulled out stains that I have shampooed at least 10 times with other brands. It even took out latex paint splatters from when I painted a mural on my kids walls! I had given up on ever getting that out, or the stains in our entryway from most likely the first owners. To say it works well, would be an understatement! I really wish I had taken before and after pictures, but I wasn’t anticipating it to be so amazing! When you add the solution it does have a mild pleasant scent, but after shampooing I noticed it didn’t really leave any scent behind. Which I guess is good for animals, but I would have liked a little bit of a fresh/clean smell. On the other hand, I first tried this in one of my kids rooms that had a cat pee smell before we bought the house. Then over the 3yrs that we’ve lived here dogs have peed in, cats have marked, and yes… my kids peed in there too 🤦♀️ So having no scent at all, was astonishing! I did pre-treat and go over the known really bad spots a few times to make sure the smell was gone gone. I saw the reviews about bubbles/foaming too much. While I did see some bubbles, especially when I had pre-treated areas. I didn’t think it was any more than other brands or too much. My machine didn’t seem to have any issues with it. ... show more
