A little backstory: my husband and I had wanted to plan on doing a Montessori floor bed for our son when he was ready to transition to his own room, but realized that, for us, this may not happen for quite some time (and by that point we may just go straight to toddler bed). Our 11 week old son had recently outgrown his smaller bassinet, and in this transition has been sleeping in the bassinet insert in a pack n play in our room- but now that he is more active and wiggling and kicking all the time, the pack n play bassinet just does not feel stable (plus the “mattress” is really just more of a board which I can’t imagine would be comfy for sleeping). Just received the crib yesterday, and my husband set it up last night in our bedroom (our son will sleep in our room until at least 6 months, if not longer). As far as I know, it was relatively easy and straightforward to set up, although the longer front and back pieces weren’t labeled up from down so my husband just had to flip it around at one point to get all the edges along the top flush. Obviously have not had this crib long enough to comment on durability, but it feels extremely stable (which was my main worry when ordering a crib that was under $100). It does not wiggle at all, and all of the joints are completely tight together. I was worried about the hardware not being hidden like some of the more expensive crib models, but the ebony color we ordered came with dark charcoal/black hardware so it barely shows at all. Not sure that would have been the case with the hardware that comes with the other color options. We have the Newton Baby crib mattress (also highly recommend!) and it fits so perfectly in this crib- so snug down in the frame there’s not even a hair of space between the mattress and the slats. I didn’t really check the height of the crib before ordering, so was a little surprised with how low it seems overall- but I actually prefer that, since our son’s nursery is pretty small I think it will feel more size-appropriate for the space once we move it in there. Will update in the future if this changes, but so far, very happy we took the chance on this very affordable, cute little crib! ... show more

The only bad thing is the instructions are not that clear and the bolt package is not labeled. Other than that it was easy to figure out and very sturdy. Looks very elegant. Overall great product for the price.

Love this crib for the price! Couldn’t justify spending an arm and a leg, so we opted for this crib! Easy to assemble! Only downside was the huge box it came in and trying to get it through the door!😂

I am completely satisfied with this crib. Is it fancy? No, but for the price its a very decent sturdy crib. It was super easy to put together by myself. Despite other claims here, I didn't experience any weird smells. Do not over tighten the screws or you could damage the wood. It clearly states that in the instructions. I was looking for a crib for my granddaughter when I learned that drop down sides are illegal! I'm 4'9 so this made finding the right crib a challenge. This crib is short enough that at the highest mattress setting I can easily reach baby. :) ... show more

Just what I wanted, a basic crib! Why pay extra for one that "converts" to a larger bed for which you have to buy mattress and frame (the whole thing!)? Toddler bed conversion is good enough and exactly what it sounds like. I suppose it's not stylish but it still looks nice. My boyfriend was able to put it together by himself and it seems quite sturdy. Also very light and easy to move. ... show more

This product is junk. I didn't even get the fourth side put on and the wood cracked, nit while I was doin the screws, just turning it over to put on the other end I set it down and heard craaack. I am returning it. One of the parts was defective as well, it is malformed, it almost looks like there is a ball bearing stuck in it the part where the screw driver is supposed to go. The paint finish was weird looking in some places. The instructions say this crib is not to be used for children under 15 months, or over 50 lbs. I think my toddler might have been able to break the slats by kicking it. Waisted time and effort to unpack the pieces, start putting it together, take it back apart, repack it and get it out to the ups people tomorrow. ... show more

I love how the crib looks once assembled. It’s low profile (great for short people like myself) and I especially love how the sides are equal height (most cribs have 2 higher side pieces). This one is the same height on all 4 sides - that was the determining factor between buying this one versus others. It looks great in the nursery space, HOWEVER, the quality is just awful. Upon receiving, the paint was already chipped and coming off in multiple areas. The crib wood was also not sanded prior to painting, resulting in rough spots (as other reviews have stated). I received many deep, painful splinters while putting it together. It also arrived very dusty. I gently used a very soft and fluffy Swifter dust pad on it, and even that took the paint off! I can only imagine how much more paint is going to chip off with small bumps into it, toys hitting against it, or a baby/toddler chewing on it. Some of the sides/legs also don’t line up flush, no matter how many times we tried. I love the look of it and how well it suited the nursery theme, but will have to return due to the quality. ... show more
