  • Foam stuck at bottom of brush
Style: 1 pack
It does the job of cleaning my rug from pet stains. One flaw is that the design of the brush allows the foam to accumulate at the bottom so it’s a continuous hassle to redistribute the cleaning foam.

  • Work good
Style: 1 pack
My dog gets car sick, found this out the hard way. She destroyed my cars back seat. Bought this hoping it'll take care of the stains. So far so good, doesn't look "like new" but clean. Just spray, scrub, wipe away. Only bad thing is the button to get the foam out is extremely hard to press so my fingers are red and sore after a few minutes of using this. Not sure if I'm just that weak or if my container is defective or what. ... show more

  • Fairly good upholstery cleaner, with limitations.
Style: 1 pack
I'm the using Bissell Spot and Stain fabric and upholstery cleaner 9351 to clean my sofa, which has a white (I know, what was I thinking?), corduroy-like material. This was an expensive sofa and I've had it for about 3 1/2 years. During that time, the seat cushions have accumulated a fair number of stains, discoloration and wear. I've had the covers dry cleaned several times, but @ $160 per cleaning (for 3 back cushions and 3 seat cushions), I wanted something less expensive. I also needed something to take care of stains on the body of the sofa. The Bissell Spot and Stain fabric and upholstery cleaner 9351 does an ok job, but there are some stains that it won't remove. It will remove some, but not all of the general dirt and discoloration. By way of comparison, the dry cleaning produced somewhat better results, but that process also could not make the material perfectly clean. To use the product, shake the can, place the brush end on the material you want to treat and give the trigger a short pull. You don't need too much foam. Once the foam is released, rub it gently into a small section of the material, move to another area and repeat the process. Foam will build up on the sides of the brush, and you should just rub these areas on the material to utilize this foam. Let the material dry, which may take 30 - 60 minutes, and then vacuum, using a small brush attachment. You should notice the material becoming lighter as the vacuum removes the dried foam and dirt. When you use this product, it is very important to do an entire panel at one time. If you have a stain on a portion of the material do not attempt to just treat the stain. You may remove the stain, but you will create an new and larger discoloration in the area that you treat. I did this the first time I used the product and that discoloration is still there, in spite of several subsequent cleanings. If you do the entire panel, you won't see a demarcation between the treated and untreated areas. ... show more

  • Almost works
Style: 4 pack
Used for cat vomit stains on carpet. Removes most obvious stain but certainly not entirely - even if used immediately after the incident. my main complain, however, is the difficulty in using the container. It takes two hands to depress the dispensing button. Even then it's a struggle. Maybe the can I have is defective. I cannot believe Bissell would intentionally make their products so hard to use. I bought the 3 can package and so will continue to use them but will never buy this product again. Cleaning carpet stains is hard enough without struggling with the cleaning product itself. ... show more

  • It works!
Style: 1 pack
It cleaned greasy food stains off two fabric dining chairs and an unknown stain off my carpet. The stains were noticeable, but not dark (not tomato sauce, for example). Before using it for real, I tested it on an already-ruined chair of the same fabric - two tests, one day apart from each other. I rinsed the foam out of the applicator brush after the first test, and there was enough moisture left on the applicator the next day that the second test left a water mark. Don't rinse the applicator --just let the foam dry. The only negative is that the push button on my can is super hard to depress, and I have great hand strength. This could be a problem for some people. ... show more

  • Great for pet stains on your couch
Style: 1 pack
When I want to just spot clean the couch from our dogs dirty paws, etc this works great!! Easy to use and dries nicely. A little product does go a long way though and you’ll need some paper towel while using it because if gives out a lot of cleaning foam

  • Cleans almost too well
Style: 1 pack
I had gotten a grease state on my brown canvas-like material couch so I ordered this in hopes that it would get out the grease station. I tried to keep my expectations love since 1. it was grease, and 2. i never have lucky with carpet or upholstery cleaners. I typically end up getting better results by hand. However, this seems to be a good cleaning product. I know you're supposed to spot check a portion of carpet area that's a bit hidden away. area to to see if it has any time of discoloration effect. I did not do that. I didn't think that advisement pertained to a couch as well, and especially because my couch didn't even seem remotely dirty. The couch is brown. Both spots are gone now; the original grease stain and then the stain from the stain remover lol ... show more
