This foam is great for boat floors. It looks terrific, is easy to install, dries quick and doesn't fade or stain easily. The adhesive provided is a 3M product and is strong yet forgiving as you apply the material meaning you can move it around before letting it cure and bond to the surface. Easy to cut and very sticky. Once it's down it's not moving. Looks great and feels good under foot. I hope it lasts in the sun.

SUPER SLICK when used on swimming pool diving board once it gets wet. We understood its primary purpose is for boat decking but several reviews mentioned swim platform usage. Great color, very easy to cut, applied with additional 3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive, resulting in fantastic bond. Loved the look and ease of application. Very disappointed that surface was even slicker than aged board. We were hoping this product could be used instead of re-surfacing the fiberglass board. My old 70's sailboat had a rotten cockpit sole which required recoring. Access the bottom was difficult, so I did a top-down repair. The top skin with the molded-in anti-skid texture was in pretty poor condition to start with, too, so I just laid a new skin and used this EVA foam on top. After the paint on the new fiberglass had a week to cure fully, I cleaned it thoroughly with soap and water and a wipe of acetone, then carefully laid down the foam - you want to be accurate with this, the adhesive is very strong and you won't really have the chance to reposition. It's much more comfortable to stand on than the old anti-skid, and still provides good grip like you need on a boat. I'm more than satisfied with the functionality of this decking and plan to apply it on the rest of the cockpit next season. It's held up well through one season with no signs of wear or damage. We needed something removable for the slippery spots on our boat decking. Grandkids were sliding & I was worried they’d get hurt. This came in a roll & we flattened it over night. Then cut it to fit exactly what we needed. It looks great. Was easy to install. Very durable. And lasted the season. We use our boat a lot so there was quite a bit of traffic & one corner finally came loose after getting caught in a crazy rainstorm that soaked it. But it hasn’t cause the rest of it to loosen at all. We’ve had it applied now for 4 mos. The ppl who detail our boat recommended it & said they could remove it when they winterize it. It also keeps you from burning your feet on the hot fiberglass after boat sits in sun for a while. The gray color doesn’t show dirt at all. Very happy with it! ... show more

Very cheap styrofoam material easy to work with if you don’t mind a cheap product it’s fine I think it will wear quickly and scuff easily it looks nice but it’s definitely not a permanent solution definitely spend money on higher quality material if you want real sea deck

Full disclosure, I have not used underway or had time to see how this product holds up over time, but initial assessment is that it is a great product at a fair price. The material was very easy to work with, and I was impressed with how easily it cut and installed. I bought a cutter tool, but found that since my work didn't involve large squared areas, it was easier to use a craft knife. I recommended this product to my friend and will use my lessons learned to make his install easier with less waste. ... show more

Overall I like this foam flooring a lot, it is tough and has a very nice feel. I got this to add a nice wood strip styled floor to my Son's wagon. I wanted something very durable, weatherproof, comfortable to sit on, plus something that added a bit of style. This product so far definitely checks all of those boxes. I only had to ding it a star because it was a bit of a pain to work with. It came rolled up quite tightly and when unrolled the backing kept separating from the foam and causing the foam to pucker and wrinkle. It ended up taking me a few days to get it to lay out flat enough to actually work with. However, despite the difficulty with getting it to lay out I would definitely still get it again for any similar future projects. Overall it is a nice product. ... show more
