  • This is the best and only turtle ramp I'll ever need.
While perhaps a bit pricey, it is worth it. The turtle dock is well-designed and well-made, and will probably last a very long time. The suction cups are numerous and enormous. Once stuck to a clean aquarium, they are not going to come off on their own, certainly not from the weight of one turtle, or even several turtles. The plastic is thick and sturdy, and I like that it is clear which allows the light to shine around the black strips a little bit into the tank underneath. The ramp design is brilliant! Our turtle loves to use all parts of the ramp. At night he often sleeps at the bottom of the ramp submerged in the water with the tip of his nose poking out. During the day he loves to either spread out on the central flat area directly under the light to bask. Often, he also likes to lounge up on the top area (sometimes sprawled out with his legs hanging off the sides), staying dry for as long as he wants in the periphery of the heat/light of the basking lamp. I was surprised by how large this thing is. I have what I think is a 50 or 55-gallon tank, and this ramp takes up the entire width of one of the side walls, leaving about an inch on one edge, and extends about 1/3 of the way across the tank. I had to move things around in the aquarium since nothing else could be sticking out of the water on that side. However, now that it is set up I love it! ... show more

  • Best turtle ramp I’ve found so far + UPDATE
I have a 7 inch red eared slider in a 40 gal tank and I’ve went through so many of the floating beds with poor suction cups. He had been using this cave that doubled as a sun bathing rock, but it was too short for the water levels. After searching through multiple pet stores and amazon, we settled on this device. Ngl it didn’t look that sturdy but it has really strong suction cups and can hold the turtle’s weight without tipping over! Also it’s nice that the water can flow more easily for cleaning and he has more swimming space. It’s only been a day and he’s still a little confused. I’ll be sure to update this in a few moths to see how it holds up! ** UPDATE 9 months later Still holding strong. The suction cups are coming off more easily now, but I run them under hot water to clean them and tighten the plastic and it does the trick well enough to keep the suction. My turtle still enjoys it so the 5 stars hold up :) ... show more

  • We went through ramps like crazy for our red eared slider
We went through ramps like crazy for our red eared slider. As she grew, she got too heavy for her old floating ramps- even her dock. She was having trouble climbing onto her dock and it would fill up with water due to her weight. She's around 7 inches now, and we moved her into a 100 gallon tank. She has a lot more room to swim, but we needed a new ramp that would support her weight as she got older. We bought this ramp for her mainly because it attaches to the walls of your tank, making it so you can add as much water as you want. It took her a day or two to start using the ramp. The suction cups are extremely sturdy and the ramp barely moves as she climbs on. However, when she climbs onto the top level to bask, the ramp dips a little. She likes to dive off the ramp too! The two levels are great because she likes to use the bottom level to rest, but still stay submerged in water. This was definitely the best ramp of the ones we've tried. We haven't had any trouble with the suction cups or the black strips peeling off. If you have a larger turtle, I'd definitely recommend this ramp. Our turtle is able to climb onto it with ease, and she doesn't slide off when she's resting on the ramp. It's more expensive than most floating docks, but well worth the investment! ... show more

  • was absolutely perfect until straps started peeling!
perfect product - design, sturdiness, suction, it's perfect! writing this review a few weeks after purchasing because the straps all started peeling up (be careful where your heat lamp is placed/how large of a bulb your using) not sure if this is my issue but noticed immediately these would melt if i placed too closely. no melted straps but they've all peeled up. hoping i can find a safe type of super glue to use to put these back down. super bumbed just because of how expensive this product was...not even sure who i can reach out to about this! ... show more

  • Good ramp, trash suction cups
I've had this ramp in my Yellow-Bellied Sliders tank now for about 6 months, and while it's a decent quality plastic with decent quality traction tape, the suction cups are terrible and lose their shape far too quickly. I have to clean them weekly, and I've had to soak them in hot water to try and rejuvenate them every two months or so - but now they won't even pretend to stay in shape so my poor turtle slides off every time she climbs it. If this ramp had the hook hangers over the side as an option, it would be perfect, but alas. ... show more

  • Seems like it could be a winner!
After trying various turtle ramps and/or docks, this one from Oasis is far and away the best option out there! I couldn’t use the kind that sits on top of the tank because it isn’t wide enough. Had previously used the dock type that sits in the tank, but it ended up getting so gross and was too hard to get clean and took up a lot of swimming space. Besides that, all the pier posts broke and the turtle is strong enough to move it out of place in the tank. But I think we finally might have found a workable solution with this ramp! By adhering to the glass with these mega suction cups, it’s sort of suspended above the water level and allows the turtle to still swim and move about underneath. Placed some pieces of grape on the ramp and platform area and the turtle was up there in no time and is now happily basking under the light! My turtle is a rather large yellow-bellied slider but still fits on the platform area, is able to turn around and seems comfortable and secure. As for the suction cups eventually wearing out....most suction cups do over time and I have no issue with replacing them when needed if this ramp continues to function well otherwise. ... show more
