Well I dont buy brooms very often , but for some reason I remember most of them. This is the FIRST plastic broom and dustpan I have ever been IMPRESSED BY. Its well made , cleverly designed and very servicable. And I hope it lives a long time because its made of a lot of plastic !

I do not get paid to promote any products that I purchase so this will be an honest review of the O Cedar one sweep broom and dustpan set. My broom arrived in a box with no packaging. The handle was bent and the bristles had hair and dirt on them. It looked used. However, Amazon customer service is usually pretty good about refunds and returns on used items. So I was offered a partial refund to keep the broom and I accepted that solution. The only way I can describe the one sweep motion of this broom is that it glides across my floors effortlessly. I have stained concrete floors that are black so you can see dust easily and regularly. I wanted a broom that could get all the corners easily where my vacuum mop cannot reach. This broom does that very well! Pros: effortless cleaning and picking up most if not all dust and debris with one sweep. The dustpan does sit on the floor on its own. I was able to get about 90% of debris into the dustpan without putting my foot or hand on it. Reached all corners and under furniture with no issues. Cons: A better gliding motion will be reached if you use both hands on the broom, not one. The debris remover on both sides of the broom will take out large chunks of dust. However, I noticed that it mostly through dust in the air, which is not what I wanted. The dustpan does not sit flush with the broom when connected so I can't fit this in a tight space for storage. Overall, this is a wonderful broom and I'm very happy to have this in my home! 4 out of 5 Stars! ... show more

I did a bit of research to find the best broom, and this one was suggested. I bought it and I totally agree! My husband would never sweep with our old broom, but he loves this one so much he actually sweeps floors! Lol! All jokes aside though, I've never seen a broom clean a floor this well, it really sweeps up everything in one sweep! The dustpan is also awesome, with the rubber edge, and you don't necessarily have to hold it at a angle to sweep into it. I like that the dustpan attached too for easy storage. My sister bought one too, and loves hers as well! It feels quality, the metal handle, and the bristles are the perfect amount of stiff (maybe just a tad springy though). ... show more

This is the first broom I've purchased in years. You don't think that they wear out, but the one I had was lackluster. It works well, easy to assemble, and easy to use. I'm glad for the dust pan, but it doesn't get that last line of dirt. But, it's not magic, it's a dust pan. It's nice and big and the angle gets into hard to reach spots.
