  • Ear 2 Black (Android) - How do they compare to the Ear 1?
Style: nothing wireless earbuds
EAR 1 (white): I had the nothing Ear 1s before, and liked the fit and design of them very much. The case was also fun to fidget with. I had issues with the noise cancelation, where it would always turn off or wasn't calibrated correctly everytime I put them in. The headphones would also lose signal every so often and go silent for a second. Ear 2 (black): I wanted to upgrade as I heard they fixed and upgraded a lot of the features. Noise cancelation: The noise cancelation now has a few more modes and keeps the setting you chose! A neat feature now is when you take one Ear bud out, it automatically switches the other ear bud to transparent mode until you put the other ear bud back in. These aren't quite as good as my Bose QC35 noise cancelation but do work quite well especially at the gym. Sound: After directly comparing these to the ear 1s, the sound on the ear 2 is noticeable better. The ear 2 also has a customizable EQ in the app. Music and audiobooks are clearer. These also don't have the issue of the first ear 1s where it would lose connection to my phone every once in a while. Ear buds: still fit great, comes with 3 bud sizes. They still look dope. The touch buttons have now been replaced with squeeze pressure sensors which remove accidental presses. They also play a satisfying feedback click noise. Case: still sleek, and fun to fidget with. Love the materials they used. Crispier edges. Lol Cost: The cost is reasonable, these aren't cheap but they won't blow the bank. Cons: here are a few of my only cons. - The noises when switching noise cancelation modes or connecting can be abrasively high-pitched/loud at times. (Wish we could adjust these) - Requires a lot of cleaning depending on how much ear wax you produce lol, especially for the case since you can see through it. ... show more

  • Best Quality and Value for the Price
Style: nothing ear 2
I currently have Jabra 75T but my everyday buds are the Pixel Buds Pro. My phone is a Pixel 7 Pro. The Nothings 2 connect faster than either of them. I spend more time on the phone and listening to talk entertainment. Music sounds as good or better than the others. But I don't use them for music. In fact I never have both buds in at the same time, except mowing the lawn. The case is outstanding. Easier to get them in and out. Wireless charging with a nice bright led light as an indicator. No more waiting to see if they are charging. So many smart features. Call quality is better than the PBuds. I sound clearer and less muffeled and I can hear the other caller clearer and not so muffeled. This is AFTER I ran the personal hearing test and choose the best quality for phone calls. The buttons on the stem remind me of the Apple Air Pods. The PBuds and Jabra are impossible to shove back into your ear canal without changing some random setting or disconnecting your call! These do not. There's a big difference in sticking buds in your ears and vegging out, vs talking or chewing. When you talk or eat it changes your ear canal. But will you find ONE reviewer test any product while talking for long periods? No. I've never found one. The Nothing Ear 2 does the best job on this by a long distance. Overall these are the best buds I've ever had and I've had many. Including some that cost over $200. For $125, these are a no brainer folks. Buy them now. You will love them. Now for the bad. Battery life. It's poor at best. Very frustrating because these things are pretty big. You think they could have shoved a bigger battery in them. They claim 4 hours but I haven't gotten much over 3.5 in a combination of talking and listening. What's saves them is that when one bud goes out, I can swap them out with normally no hesitation and no missed words. Impressive. I hope they can get to a respectable 6 hour battery life on the next version. Everything else should not be tinkered with. ... show more

  • Perfect for me
Style: nothing wireless earbuds
Honestly this would be 5 stars. Pros: overall build quality is awesome, love the look, sound quality and functionality of the app are amazing. Fit perfectly no issues with falling out unless a little sweaty in the ear. Super lightweight. Cons: battery life could be much better thats why not 5 stars.

  • Ear stick 1: Not bad not great, bit overpriced.
Style: nothing ear stick
This is the ear stick 1 not the 2 or whatever the newer one is called. Things I like: Really enjoyed the look of these and the compact case. I like how the case works and charges with usb c. Quick Bluetooth connect times. Voice frequency audio is pronounced. The iPhone app with EQ function is a cool idea and works well. These would work well for a work/office headset replacement similar to AirPods. I haven’t tested the mic though. Battery life seems okay but I haven’t used for more than a hour straight I would say. Things I don’t like: Listening to music on these is pretty painful especially if you are doing anything active. No adjustment for ear size at all. These just lay in the bottom of your ear and for me are virtually impossible to seal. At max volume I would compare the volume level to about 60% of AirPods as they do not fit my ear at all and all the sound escapes. With no EQ The frequency range is very 250-1000hz (ish) forward I would say and the treble is borderline too much for me. If I hold these in my ears they actually don’t sound bad at all with some EQ, but it’s nothing to write home about. I was +2 bass -1 mid and -2 treble. I’m not that much of a bass head I was just trying to get a semi balanced tone. Of course the fact I can’t get a consistent listening position in my ears makes EQ near impossible anyways. Other thoughts. A friend has the newer model (which I think is selectable option here) of these and they are seemingly adjustable to ear sizes. I would recommend that version if the budget supports it otherwise consider a cheaper set of iems. Just my two cents hope it helps someone out a bit. ... show more
