The bottles and airlocks are good quality. Unfortunately one of my airlocks was loose of its bag, and wound up being smashed. The top and the inner lock are fine, but the main container is useless. Received 2 glass gallon jugs and neither one included the cap, rubber stopper, or airlock... I was hoping to get these brews done for Christmas for my brothers and now will not be able to. Really disappointing. If they send the necessary parts to me quickly I will update my review to 5 stars if I receive the parts quickly, but as of now am forced to grade a 1 star as the item is incomplete. ... show more

Works as expected, good quality and haven't had any issues so far. I do recommend using this carboy for secondary fermentation long term aging. It's very easy to make a geyser with carboys when mixing, degasing or adding nutrients. Stick with a bucket for primary, your ceiling and floors will appreciate it. ... show more

I made a really good batch of mead in this! The price was fantastic, however I was not a fan of the air lock it came with so I used a different style. It’s kinda hard to clean but that’s just the nature of the shape of the jug. I would buy more of these.

    • Great bundle
This is a handy way to get all these things at once and I like this style of airlock as it's easier to clean than the bubble ones. I got some discoloration on the stopper but I don't think it'll affect anything one way or the other.
