I like everything about this cooling rack, except that it does not sit flat on my counter. One leg is about 3/8" higher than the other legs, and it is very hard to bend into the flat shape I need it to be. I'm going to keep it, but I'm just a little disappointed that it rocks. As of yet, I have been nervous to actually try baking anything on this rack. I fear the cleanup would be difficult. I use it as a cooling rack for things like cookies, muffins and bread, to prevent them from going soft on the bottom. To make for easier cleanup, I like to put paper towel under the baked goods. It isn’t entirely without flex, but still pretty strong and resilient. Mine always bounces back to being flat with the light things I put on it. Regular washing hasn’t caused any rust. I had some sheet pan roasting sheets with larger slats, but I got this rack specifically for roasting chickpeas without them popping out of the pan and making a mess in my oven. This worked perfectly for that! The grid is just small enough to contain the chickpeas under rack while allowing the heat and broiler to do their thing. I wanted stainless steel for easy clean but this worked fine. It's heavy and appears strong. A lot better quality than what I had before. Another rack I owned was rusty in places, hope this doesnt have the same issue.
