I ,like other reviewers, did enjoy this product after trying an IPL laser device which I use exclusively on my legs and underarms. Those are the least sensitive parts of my body except I can get friction burns on my armpits but I digress my legs aren't as sensitive. This product has a soothing scent and the gel calms my skin after using the device however the amount of treatments you will have to do is about 24 minimum. So you follow up with this product every time and you will have to repurchase it 3 times if you're covering a large area like the legs. I like the product a lot but it is very expensive and it is a lot easier to use than just azulene oil and less messy. ... show more

I was thinking this would be more of a liquid with a cooling sensation. This is a thick gel and doesn't have a heavy scent. I found the scent to be pleasant. I felt some initial tingling, but that quickly subsided. This arrived the day after I had laser hair removal done at a salon. So, I can't say whether it would have helped immediately after treatment just yet. But, it didn't seem to irritate my very sensitive skin. I hope this review is helpful. ... show more

Truthfully I have not had any issues with redness or irritation following the use of my Nood, even on the highest setting. I have used this on occasion when it seemed like there was more dryness than usual following a period of treatment (usually on my chin) and it is helpful with that. In general this a great product for any area that is extra dry, red, or burned, regardless of whether or not that was a result of using Nood. It makes a great after burn product for the face; sometimes there's a spot of two where my sunscreen application failed or melted off, usually on my forehead next to my hairline, or my ears. ... show more

I ordered this skincare treatment to use after using my IPL hair removal system. This product has a soothing lavender scent and the gel calms my skin after using the device. I like the product a lot but it is very expensive.

    • cooling on the skin
This felt good on my skin and has sort of a cooling sensation on my skin. That sensation isn't due to any menthol or something like that but it is because of the gel consistency, azulene, and aloe vera. It was quite similar to putting on aloe vera after sunburn. It wasn't sticky or tacky and was absorbed by my skin pretty quickly. It has a bit of a fragrance but nothing overwhelming. I got this in preparation for a skin laser procedure I am going to do soon, so I can't speak on whether or not it works to soothe that yet, but just from using it on my skin I liked how it felt overall. I would say my only complaint about this product is the bottle. I only squeeze out a bit to test on my skin and the third time I tried to do another test on my skin I had to put extra effort in squeezing out the gel. I think they should use a different type of bottle or container for this, one that makes it a bit easier to squeeze out the gel. It is not a big deal, just some feedback and possible improvements for the company. The Reviver by Nood I ordered this skincare treatment to use after using an IPL hair removal system. The 3.3 fl. oz. / 100 ml. bottle came wrapped in plastic for safety. The gel has a beautiful color from the aloe vera and azulene (an organic compound that is dark blue in color), and a subtle, clean scent that was pleasant and dissipated quickly. It also contains green tea extract and lavender. This soothing gel went on very smoothly after my IPL treatment. My skin absorbed the product quickly and just a minute or two later my skin felt silky smooth. No tackiness. However, the white plastic bottle looks ordinary and the amount you receive isn’t that much if you will be applying it to large areas like your legs. In addition, I found the bottle hard to press when trying to apply after the first few easier applications, as the plastic is quite firm. I think it might be difficult to get the product out towards the end. I like that this gel is cruelty free and free from parabens, sulfates, drying alcohols, and silicones. Bottom line: this was an expensive gel that isn’t necessary after IPL treatment, but it did make my skin silky smooth, so I’m giving it 4 stars. If it turns out I can’t get the product out, as I suspect might be the case, I’ll edit my review and remove a star. ... show more
