I tried a sample of this when I was a teenager. Around 13-15 years ago. I am now 30 years old and got excited when I found it on Amazon for sale. It doesn’t contain bronzer, so it won’t turn you orange. The smell is nice and not too overpowering. It’s like a normal lotion. I gave a little to my daughters to try since it’s like a normal lotion. They also love the smell and the slight shimmer it has. The bottle is so pretty. I wish there were other products in this scent. Like normal lotions and bodywash. I wish normal lotions and beauty products could have the same pretty bottles as tanning lotions. This is the real deal, although it did not come in plastic like my other bottles of lotions, it still smells and looks exactly like it’s supposed to. I wish there was more shimmer to it, but that’s just me. 10/10. No complaints whatsoever from myself or my two young daughters who only used it as a real lotion. ... show more

I am in love with this tanning lotion! The smell is amazing! I was kinda worried about it being over powering because when I first got it I rubbed it on my arm a little ( I wasnt about to tan, I just wanted to try it ) to see what it smelt and looked like and could smell it on me for hours. The next day I used it before I laid in the tanning bed, and I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing I smelt after laying! It wasn't over powering and left a much better smell that the usual tanning smell. I have very sensitive skin, and so far I've had no breakouts from using it! Definitely recommend this lotion to anyone looking for a good, no bronzer, great smelling lotion!! I recently started tanning again and wasn’t sure what lotion to get so a friend gave me a bottle of lotion she had a little bit left of and didn’t use anymore. It was the Opalescent. I fell in love with it and wanted more but it was an insane price at the salon so I searched for it on it on here and found for a great price! I even compared the bottle from both the salon and on Amazon and it’s the exact same thing!! It gives me such a great tan. I get tons of compliments about how dark I am and asked what I am using and I always recommend this!! 10/10 for sure!! Will always be my go to lotion. ... show more

I’ve used this product twice in the tanning bed, 5 minutes each time. I honestly didn’t expect to see such quick results, but this is awesome! It smells so good—perfumey to me. Def not a fruity smell or bakery smell, but it doesn’t leave you with that burnt nasty smell. You could totally go out after tanning and not worry about stinking! It kind of reminds me of the Baccarat Rouge perfume that’s super expensive. It leaves your skin feeling so soft! No orangey tones since it has no bronzer. And it leaves a glimmering sheen on your skin that is just BEAUTIFUL. 100% recommend!! ... show more

Not all brown and streaky.. actually accelerates your tan! I'm digging it so far! It has more of a perfume smell but not overly strong or unbearable at all. After 2 uses, I'd buy again. Becoming a devoted creations kinda girl!

    • Smells amazing and tans better than a bronzer
I previously had a tanning lotion with a lot of bronzer that would give me color but it seemed to take a long time and the color went away fast so i was looking for a new tanning lotion when i found this one with good reviews. The scent is wonderful. I am not a fan of smelling like a pina colada after i tan and this is more of a summery sweet scent. I had pushed of tanning for my trip to Florida until 2 weeks before and i am a pale person. I was able to tan every other day minimum and never burnt, and had a good enough base coat that i didnt burn while on vacation either. -obviously applied sun block also- I dont see myself switching to a different tanning product for a long time. I do not have sensitive skin so i can no speak on how it is for that skin type. ... show more

At first I was skeptical, I've used a bunch of tanning lotions. This is the bees knees, perfect amount of shimmers. Don't leave ya smelling like fried chicken!! Worth its money!!!
