I purchased this think in 2023 and have put this thing to the test, right off the bat when I first bought it, I helped jump a diesel truck with zero, I bought this for the simple purpose of being able to start my bike on very cold days, which it did perfectly fine. Now the real reason for this review was because I had a 2017 Cadillac XT5 that was completely dead and was able to jump it to start. The battery was completely dead and non-reliable, but this little thing was able to be the temporary battery to be able to load it up to a trailer as well as offloaded off the trailer. If I don't drive my F150 once a week the battery will discharge. This product jump starts perfectly. No long cables to carry around or standing in a parking lot trying to find someone to jump your car or truck. I have used this product four times without charging the charger. The charger charges from your computer or wall plug. I keep one in each of my vehicles just in case. Worth the money. This starter has performed FABUOULOUSLY for me since I got it. I have an electrical issue with my ENVOY that discharges the battery over time. I have hooked this up when it will not start and it has brought the battery back to 12 Volts (light comes on and then you start it) AND in one instance, the battery was SO LOW the light would not come on and I used it in "emergency mode override) and it started the ENVORY! As a matter of fact, after starting the vehicle, when I went to remove the cables the engine died (this device was providing ALL the spark plug power to the vehicle after starting it from dead. The next re-start left it connected for the full minute to give time for the alternator to charge up the battery enough to remove this starter. It charges fast using the provided USB-C port which will power devices and charge my phones, etc. I think this size is the best trade off on cost versus rating. SO far SO GREAT! ... show more

I originally bought this to have in case of emergencies and to jump my spare vehicles. I did not think I would need to use it so soon but to my surprise my pickup and suv both had dead batteries at the same time. This device worked flawlessly and jump started both vehicles within the 60 second window. I think everyone should have this! My only minor complaint is I wish the cables were longer. ... show more

    • This Should Be A Standard Accessory
I caught Covid and my Jeep Grand Cherokee sat for a week without being started. Went to start my vehicle and no go. My old battery jumper was no longer operating so I picked this one up. Upon first use, it's recommended to fully charge initially. Using the included USB A to USB C cable, the charging could take several hours. Luckily, I have a 60W USB C charger available. This SIGNIFICANTLY drops the charging time. Less than an hour until the initial charge. Once this was completed, jumping my Jeep was super simple. Connect the cables to the booster. Connect to + terminal first. Connect to a ground (Jeep has a post specifically for this). Power on the starter. Cranked up the Jeep. Super easy. Exactly what it should be. It can be used to power up your phone if needed or can even be used in the dark as a flashlight. There are indicators for if the device is too cold (I believe 10 degrees F), too hot, and a couple other indicators. Once I switched over from the USB A to USB C to the 60W, the fast charge indicator illuminated to show that it was rapidly charging. This charger is so much better and more reliable than my last. As others have said, you need to watch the charge of this device. After the initial full charge, charging up to around 85% for standby. I would also recommend occasionally fully draining and then fully charging every so often to keep the battery properly conditioned. This, too, can help to increase the lifespan. Overall, great product. Never heard of this brand until now, but I'm completely on board. ... show more
