Works great, I get 3 jumps out of a full charge (for an old 1980 3.0L engine), and I love that I can use my MacBook 61W USB-C charger for it. The clamp cables are short as advertised so just know you need to sit this down right next to your battery but you can buy long cables for it if you'd like. Flashlight function thoughtfully pointing out of the cable end and is a nice extra when you're trying to jump your car in the dark. Would buy again. ... show more

I purchased the GBX45 after reading so many positive reviews. I was hung up on buying it because how could something so small possibly jump start a car? The next day I was filling my tires in my '21 GMC Canyon with air by using the dash tire pressure screen. It only works when the key is on. And, you have to wait sometimes for the sensors or the computer to catch up and show the updated tire pressure. Well, I got side tracked. I came out later that evening and saw I had left the key on. When I went to start it, it was dead. No clicks either. The wipers were on intermittent from when I last drove, and they didn't work either. I was about to grab my garage charger, but thought to give this booster a try. It worked! When I first connected it to my trucks battery, the level light bar was on green- I just shared it the day before. I waited about 30-40 seconds, and it started right up. When I disconnected the booster, its level light bar was on the orange. I used the 12V power cord I purchased and it charged back to green within 20 minutes. Might have been less, but I wasn't standing there watching it. So, ya, that tiny thing really did jump start a small pick up. However, as a sceptic, I'll admit my battery was 3 years old and I had never let it die before. It was also about 70-75 outside in mid-August. I still wonder what would happen if the battery was 5 years old and it was 20 in the middle of January-- and I was stuck in the middle of nowhere instead of my driveway with alternative means to charge the battery! ... show more

    • Great product but pricey for what you get

I purchased this to have a method to deal with the occasional dead battery at home. Jumping a car in a garage is not easy depending on the location of the vehicles and the access to the battery location. You could do a lot of accidental damage if your not careful. This unit takes this out of the equation. Very portable and easy to hookup. I like the quality of the product, but why not include a fast charger with the product? To use the fast charge capability you have to own or purchase a 30 watt charger that puts you out another $30 bucks. If cost is an option you may want to consider a lower priced version of the product. ... show more
