  • Very Quiet
If youre looking for a good AT tire that isnt noisy, this is it. I cant testify to how long they last or how well they are offroad, but I can say, theyre excellant in rain, and not noisy at all at highway speeds. Hoping these hold up as long as the other reviews say. I will update this as time goes on. ... show more

  • Love them!
I'm very impressed with these tires so far. I have put about 1200 miles on them at this point, part of which was plowing during a massive 24" snow storm here in upstate NY. They seem to have great road manners, fantastic grip and are wearing better than expected. I'm running them on a 2500hd diesel with a heavy utility body, which also tows a lot and runs a snow plow during the winter. This is a very heavy truck that really tests tires (8400+ lbs loaded). I Usually only get a year out of a set of tires (or 10 to 13000+ miles on a set of E loads). Plowed piles of snow and spun the tires a lot pushing piles back. Despite all that, the little ridged part of the block tread is still intact. Snow and wet traction is great, and they seem to do very well in mud. There is a little bit of sidewall flex on the road at speed, but again, this is a very heavy truck. Road noise is minimal; a light buzz at 55-60, but not a howl like straight up mud tires. I'd recommend these for sure. Will update later when I have more miles and use on them. UPDATE - These have been great tires. Not sure of the mileage I have on them ( 18k I'd guess and just shy of a year and a half) and they have held up very well. I'm happy if I get 10k out of a set of tires with the towing and the combo I have. I rotated them every 2nd oil change until one pair started getting low on tread and then I just ran that set out on the rear. My alignment got out of whack on the front left around springtime and as a result, I \ wore the inside of that tire down quite a bit before I could get it realigned. It still had decent tread left before that and it could have remained on the front if I was more proactive. The RF still has about a 3rd of its tread depth left as did the LF before the alignment issues. These tires have had good road manners, low noise, excellent traction and good wear characteristics. I have had this truck for 12 years and have run many, and I mean MANY sets of tires on this truck. I've had tires from many manufacturers, in a variety of styles (mildly aggressive "road" type to full on mud tires) and these Nitto's have been the flat out best so far. Ordering my 2nd set of them shortly. Hope this info helps. ... show more

  • Trail graps vs ridge graps
Had the trail Grapplers and had an incident with some ice. They’re great in snow 6”+ but not so great below that. So switched to the ridges. Drove an hour with about 5” of snow on a duramax. They’re excellent! Had to really get into it to break tires loose. Very quite on highway for what they are. Remind me of duratracs in snow. Highly recommend them. Will rewrite after few months of ownership. Compared to trail graps: they’re quieter, ride way better, excellent in snow, not as heavy. Even noticed some hp gain going from trails to ridges on a diesel truck! Havnt towed on them yet. Trails were an excellent highway tow tire 0 sidewall flex, but noisy and heavy. 6mo review. Driven through 15” of snow with ease, even in mushy sloppy roads they’re a great snow tire. 0 sidewall flex towing. 0 regrets. Excellent tire! ... show more

Great tires. Aggressive look. Air down to 10psi and rolled through trail easily.

Awesome tires... quieter than the terra grapplers I had before which is surprising! Great look and great ride quality.

5,000 miles in these things are nice! Grip is really good, but tends to grab every bump and hole on the road
