  • Excellent video game
Beautiful little game - lots of puppies and kittens and all of the gambit. So much fun! Got to love the puppies and especially Kokomo the white pomeranian. They each have a talent and are working hard to accomplish it.

  • amazing, wont let you down!
This game was the whole reason i got a 3DS and i am not dissapointed! I play it everyday and love it. It's better than the first one. The only thing i thing is the cats, i was kinda dissapointed could have done more with it. All they do is stay in the house and in 30 to 45 mins if left the system untouched do they bring you a random gift. Other than that they dont do much could can pet, feed bathe, groom, play. But no unique compitions of their own. The walks are much better than the first, more realistic for sure! But the down fall not a lot of you can get and when you do its not very vood except for once and a while you get something nice. Overall though would get this game, super cute and even better in 3D! :) ... show more

  • Fun game, and has differences from the original
I own Nintendogs for the the Nintendo DS, and was excited to play Nintendogs + Cats for the 3DS. I was still pleasantly surprised to play it! I knew I would like the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendogs + Cats, but I didn't think I'd like them this much. First, let me tell you that I am a 26 year old woman. I hear this game is targeted at children, but I still find enjoyment in it! The dogs have more personality in this game than the original, which is nice. The walks you can take with your dog are more enjoyable. The game understands my voice more in this game than the original. The graphics are obviously a lot better than the original; the 3D is way cooler than I thought it would be. It's something you have to see to believe. The only complaint I have is that the dogs never go to the bottom screen the way they do in the DS version. When you're playing with the dog, there is a silhouette of him/her on the bottom screen, and you pet the silhouette as it shows a hand petting the dog on the top screen. I liked being able to "pet" the actual dog in the first game. Overall, it's just a nice, little game. I haven't been able to adopt a cat yet, but I have played with the kittens in the kennel. I'm slightly disappointed at the variety, there are only three kinds of cats. But for me, that doesn't detract from the experience at all. Also in this game, you can buy furniture for the house and the dogs and cats interact with the furniture, which is a nice touch. The reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that this is not a lengthy game. Spending half an hour a day feels like enough time with it. I understand it's a simple game, and that's what I like about it. I definitely recommend this game for kids; it's pure and kid-friendly. But I also recommend this for the adults like me who enjoy pet simulators. :) ... show more

  • Nintendogs + Cats for the Nintendo 3DS
Like others have reviewd the 3 different Nintendogs + Cats are the same. You will start with different dog breeds but through game play you will be able to unlock the other breeds. Nintendogs + Cats features a lot of the 3DS capabilities. Once you name your dog you can call him/her with the microphone. Your dog/cat will learn to recognize you using the camera. The 3D graphics are a nice touch. Although there are no real objectives in this game you can train your dog and put them in competitions. The interactions with your dog or cat is fun as well. My daugther loves to try and get them to do silly things and just laughs at them. Nintendgos + Cats is a fun game but I would recommend getting it on sale. I think we spent $12 on it, I would not buy it for more than $20. ... show more

  • Waste of Money
If you already have Nintendogs, there's really no reason to buy this. I bought it because it had cats, but the cats seem like an afterthought, and they're not nearly as fun and full-featured as the dog stuff. Since I already had a Nintendogs for the old DS, this wasn't really worth it. Even the 3D doesn't make it worth the money. If you really want it, find one at a garage sale cheap. ... show more

  • I'm 22 years old and I LOVE this game!
I'm a 22 year old female and I am obsessed with this game. I find it to be so much fun! I think the game looks amazing in 3D but personally I rather play it in 2D. I noticed as you start out in the game you only have a few dogs to select from but the farther you get into the game you will be able to unlock more breeds of dogs as well as more items to buy in the store ect. I like the fact you are able to have cats now but you really can not do much with them. You can not take them out for walks or anything..just sit at home and play with them. (I take my cat in real life out for walks so I thought it would let you in the game as well lol, oh well). Overall I do recommend this game. ... show more

  • Such a cute game!
This game just came in the mail today, and I'm in love! It's so cute! The graphics are so clear and colorful. The puppies are adorable. All the versions are the same, yes, it just depends on what you start out with. all 27 breeds are unlockable, it's just that it may take a while. This is the version I ordered, and I settled with the toy poodle. All the pupies are cute and I already have three kittens unlocked on my first day playing it. If you're a fan of pet simulation, cute puppies, and want something that will put you in a better mood on a bad day, nintendogs 3DS is the way to go. :) ... show more

  • Does not play in my country
This doesn't even play in my country, you would think if a game is restricted to specific countries it would call this out in BOLD HIGHLIGHT for the buyers to be aware! Total waste of time and money and it was for a Birthday gift, so disappointed with Amazon!
