We ordered this as a Christmas gift for our son and the device quit working within 1 week of use. We asked for a replacement and the replacement did not work after only using for a short period of time with an error on the memory card. We were refused a refund because they said the product was damaged,, dirty and outside of the 90 day return window, which it was not when it was shipped without damage and clean. We would not have been outside the 90 day return window, if they 1st device would have worked properly. I would not recommend purchasing from this seller, as they do not honor the return and refund. They only want to send you defective replacement devices. ... show more

I don't normally leave reviews, but I am quite pleased with the 3DS that I received. I was worried about getting the LL version(Japan?), but I got a legitimate US version, as one would hope. The 3DS looks quite flawless. No scratches on the screen. Not much if any wear on the shell either. I love it. And thank you... 5 stars for sure. ... show more

My 3ds top screen stopped working so I ordered a refurb. All of my games are digital, so I had to work with Nintendo to switch the games from one 3ds to another. I ordered this one, came in nice shape, turned on and seemed fine. Nintendo would not transfer the games as this particular 3ds was marked for suspicious activity. I guess that wouldn’t matter for physical games. The 3ds was and is so great, Nintendo needs to make this process easier. Amazon should ensure that these consoles are cool with Nintendo, it sucks to have to wait for the refund and to try again knowing the same thing might happen. ... show more

The hinge, which is the weak point on these models, is in great shape. I can play my games, although the game slot seems to think it's empty sometimes when it isn't. It's all good. If that's the worst thing that happens, I'll be most pleased.

I saw this one on Amazon and thought that even if used as long as it was in good clean workable shape I would be happy. It arrived and it is beautiful.
