I don't normally leave reviews, but I am quite pleased with the 3DS that I received. I was worried about getting the LL version(Japan?), but I got a legitimate US version, as one would hope. Looks like it was gonna work great but I had to return it because it was the old style 3ds xl which isn't compatible to transfer data from a new style 3DS which is what I bought it for

I ordered one, got it, it didn’t work. The console would not recognize when you pushed a button. Returned and got another one, the same thing happened. Just fyi, they make the first return super easy but the second, they make you work for it.

If you get to the part where it askes you to press ok and the ok is on the very bottom of the screen, press the very bottom of the screen even if it is part of the black part. That is how I got past the name select. Just started playing a game and it seems like it runs well and it brings back good memories ... show more

I've been wanting to get my hands on an original 3ds xl for a while, call it nostalgia. I saw this one on Amazon and thought that even if used as long as it was in good clean workable shape I would be happy. It arrived and it is beautiful. Very skeptical when I ordered this but thrilled with my new 3dsxl. It is in new condition. Even the enclosed paperwork listed the condition as "new". I may just be very lucky for the first time ever but if you are interested in a refreshed 3ds go for it!

The title is misleading and was sent a Japanese version of the console. The 3ds is region locked, so if you dont plan on modding the console you wont be able to play your US games on it. Also "excellent" condition is a stretch. The one i recieved has a good amount of scratches. I would consider the product in good condition. ... show more
