I have ordered a Refurbished - Excellent: Nintendo New Galaxy 3DS XL. Through Amazon's shipping, I received this beautiful New Galaxy 3ds xl early! The system had everything with it to get started as I was provided with a charger with the system listing I had chosen through CaveGamers, and it did have the stylus. I've thoroughly inspected the New 3ds xl exterior and interior. The exterior barely any cosmetic wear whatsoever! There's not much that could've been concerning. There was maybe one or two surface level scratches on the top and bottom of the case, but you have to go out of your way to notice or feel them. No chips in the paint and I like how the Galaxy shines! As for the inside of the system, it's also in excellent condition. I tried out all of the buttons and they felt snappy as they should. There wasn't any damage or scratches on the screens or other cosmetic damage that I was able to tell. All that I needed to do was let the system charge as it was dead on arrival. I ordered a replacement battery as I know these systems and their batteries are starting to reach their end cycle. The battery currently in the system looked fine but was barely bloating so I'm upgrading with a new regardless. Either way, the new 3ds xl turned on after getting the battery to full. I was welcomed to the setup screen. The screens were working as intended too, with no dead pixels and the 3D with its tracking is reliable. Overall, the system looked like it was barely used! While I used to have the old 3DS in Red as a kid, this feels so far as a great upgrade! I am impressed with what I received and feel this is what I would've expected. I never got one of these when I was a kid, so I decided to get one and see what I had missed. It is fair to say probably missed a bit, as this thing was fun, even without a game! It is even better with one, as the 3d effect makes everything popout at me! I received a refurbished console, because finding a new one was impossible for me and my budget. The device came in good working order, and came clean too! The bottom plate was scratched a bit, but this could be from sliding it on a table. The top plate and screens were practically pristine, however, which is the most impressive thing. The one thing I will gripe is that there is a strange, letter I shaped diffet in my console, which I am not sure why is there, but I am not too worried about it. Overall, still like buying refurbished things. I have a lot to catch up on with this, even if the eshop and internet servers are down. ... show more

I purchased this Nintendo Switch 3DS expecting it to be in excellent condition as stated in the description. However, upon arrival, I noticed several issues. The stylus pen was missing, which was disappointing. Additionally, the screw on the back was chipped/broken, making it impossible to open the panel to insert an SD card. The backboard panel also appeared dirty, which was unexpected for an item listed in excellent condition. The media could not be loaded. Packaged perfectly, looks and sounds great besides two things, first is that there is visible cleaning marks on screen, but that obviously is a pro and con by itself, and turning it on took a lot longer than my other previous 3ds’s, so I’m guessing this has wear and tear on it. I usually don't write reviews, but as someone who is extremely late to the game on getting a New Nintendo 3DS XL I felt I should write something. I am pretty picky when it comes to buying used anything, and would always spend a lot more if it meant i could have brand new, but it seems it is impossible to get those anymore since they were discontinued a long time ago. After looking all over i decided to take a chance on this refurbished and i must say im extremely impressed. Pulling it out of the box, it came packaged well and it came with the manual and AR cards. No AC charger, but that was always the case with these as far as i understand it. I think you can get one for $5 anyways, so no big deal. My biggest concern before purchasing was appearance and functional parts, and this excelled at both of those things. I found microscopic abrasions on the outside casing, but you wouldn't notice unless you put a bright light and magnifying glass on it. So overall, very happy with the condition of the unit. Second, i was hoping that all internals would be functional. It successfully connected to the internet, data transfer, etc. Camera works, 3D stabilization works, auto brightness adjustment too. Battery was charged to 50% when i got it. In conclusion, if you are like me, take comfort in knowing this is easily the best option option if you are in the market for one of these in 2020. ... show more
