This is working very well to get the humidity out of the bathroom after showers. I don't have an exhaust fan, just a window that doesn't help when it's humid outside too. I needed something compact enough to fit in the bathroom and get moisture out of the air. It's working well and I like the color options for the light. Easy to empty and set up. I use it in a 300sq bedroom that stays at 55% or higher humidity, with this unit it drops down to 47% on its own. it works really well; it is a bit noisy but no more than a regular fan on low setting. The lights are dim so they don't bother you at night and you can turn them off. I live in a high humidity area with lots of water sources, I can see and feel a significant difference with this unit the people say this doesn't work, then they don't understand how humidity works. Sometimes you need more than one unit regardless of what the unit is rated for to keep up or buy a bigger dehumidifier. ... show more

Honestly it does everything I need it to. The room is not humid anymore. It's small so it fills somewhat fast, but since it's so small it's really easy to empty, unlike one of those big area dehumidifiers you'd put in a basement which are a pain to empty. The build quality is good, though I have a slight issue with it (see below), lastly the RGB lights are kind of silly, but they're not very bright so they don't light the room up at night, so I keep them on for the aesthetic. Okay, now for my one and only issue with this thing. If you're OCD like me you'll appreciate this: I took 1 star away because the power cable goes to the top of the unit instead of going through the bottom like literally any other electronic device ever. (See attached picture if you don't know what I mean) I don't know who thought that was a good idea... and I shouldn't be THIS annoyed by it, but seriously it's just such a dumb design choice. The cable going to the top of the unit means you always see it just hanging out, and you technically have less cable length unless you plan to plug it into an outlet above the unit (which I'd say is a far less common use case). I assume this choice was made because the actual dehumidifier components are in the top, but they still could have just fished that power cable through the bottom outside of the tank to make it so that the cable comes out of the bottom of the unit. I know, I know, who cares... But it makes what would have been a really sleek, good looking dehumidifier and eye sore to me. I hate seeing the cable hanging out like it does, it drives me nuts lol. This is my second NineSky dehumidifier. The two of them are constantly working in our basement. The unit is reliable and quiet. I am amazed at how much water is sucked out of our foundation area! The tank is easy to slide out and empty. It also automatically turns off if the tank capacity is reached. It is small enough to fit in various spaces and very movable. Our home has benefited very much from this little dehumidifier running. During the summer we noticed the humidity in our home was over 60% and knew something needed to change. We have had this dehumidifier for about a month now and it still is pulling unneeded moisture from the air. The tank is very easy to empty and once it’s full it shuts off. We empty the tank weekly. It does not stand out in the room. It is quiet while it runs. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a small quiet dehumidifier for you home! ... show more

Got this for a quiet dehumidifier for my den in the basement. It is quiet, and I like how small it is, but I guess I need something a little larger for the size of my room, as this one couldn't lower the humidity in it. I was also disappointed that the night mode only turns off the light, the sound doesn't change at all even though the manual says it should. Using a decibel meter shows the sound doesn't change in night mode. ... show more
