This is my first pair of night vision goggles and I live it. They are really a pair of night vision goggles/camera/video recorder. I was interested in the night sky and needless to say, the videos of stars I took are crazy. They are nothing more than pure energy, not solid at all. Very interesting. I am looking forward to using them for many other things so I am excited about that. It is easy to review your video directly from the camera lens and simple to download to your computer. These night vision goggles are lightweight and easy to use. They are functional in both daylight and darkness. In the daytime the vision, pictures and/or videos are color and good quality. In the dark the vision, pictures and/or video is black and white. There are different levels of brightness depending on the ambient light available and infrared for total darkness. I got these glasses to view the far off portion of my backyard before letting my dog out at night since she has been skunked twice. These night vision goggles are perfect for that purpose. Had these for about 2 months I like the flexibility of being able to use them at night or during the daytime. I really like the user friendly controls and to be able to use the over the neck strap to free up your hands in between uses. I would recommend these goggles to anyone the price point and the product your getting for that price is a steal. One thing I feel they should have included is a protective bag specifically for the binoculars. I plan on traveling with these and feel they would be better protected with their own bag when not in use. Definitely satisfied! ... show more

I think these are good value for what they cost. They are not a serious tool, but a very fun, and somewhat useful toy. The night I tried these out I could see pretty clearly for a long distance down the lake I live on (over 1/4 mile) I could see tree branches fairly clearly at 100 yards, or so. The controls on top of the unit were fairly easy to learn in a short time. The camera, and video features work pretty well. I would recommend this device based on its value for price. ... show more

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He has been very impressed. He can see up to a quarter mile away. He can identify what he is viewing, good quality.
