I got this NightVision out of curiosity and I’m used to seeing clearly at night with my home camera security system with its IR Night Vision. You only need to take a few minutes to learn the control buttons, after that it’s intuitive where you do not need to look at them every time. The 12 page manual is written fairly well without translation errors. This is a feature packed little IR camera however; the price (as of this review) is a bit high at $100.00. A basic search on Amazon and you will find plenty of others with the same features but at a lower cost. GOOD: - Photos may be taken at 40M/20M/12M/10M/8M. - Video capability at 4K/1080P/720P. - Lightweight & comes with a carrying bag. - Comes with 32GB memory card. COULD BE BETTER (my reason for 4 stars) - Price is high ($100 at the time of this review). - The claim of “300 meters in Dark” (900 feet) I could get no where near that, at best I got around 160 feet (just over 50 meters) Thank you for taking your time to read my review -- I hope it was HELPFUL. ... show more

Even though these look like goggles, they cannot be used as such. It has to be six inches or more from your eyes for you to get a clear picture. The controls are easy to use and it charges fairly quickly via usb-c connection. The infrared light helps get a nice view in complete darkness but loses effectiveness after about 50 feet or so. I was able to get a clear picture out to about 100 feet using a sperate infrared flashlight. The sight picture is very small but that's to be expected from such a compact unit. I can almost fit the entire unit in my pants pocket. This comes with a carry pouch and a flimsy lanyard. There is also a 32gb memory card that's included. The battery needs an electrician or advanced knowledge too change but otherwise very nice... The battery is wired into the unit, You can change the battery but you will have to unsolder wires, etc. The battery compartment can be opened with just a screwdriver as the compartment is held closed by one very small screw. It is obvious that the battery is not meant to be changed but if you absolutely have to and know how and have the correct electrical tools you can. The unit is small and lightweight and works good overall. It has a s sound option for when recording video but don't think this is going to be quality sound. There is no image stabilization so you will need to have very steady hands or some sort of tripod to get smooth video. You can also record without using the night vision feature as any non-vision camera gear would work. Overall a nice little unit, not exactly profession, don't kid yourself but considering the price point and what it can do overall not a bad little toy to have some fun with in the day or at night.
