I’ve had trouble when purchasing other blackout curtains, realizing after hanging up, they truly didn’t “blackout” the room. But these are perfect! Thick and great quality material. Perfect for my babies room when it’s time for a nap or bedtime. Only thing I will have to say is the wrinkles from being folded in the packaging are a bit tough to get out. I was skeptical about how dark white curtains could be but these are lined with a black curtains on the window side, so they block the light and heat perfectly! They are super heavy and surprisingly soft. Definitely a solid purchase and I will be buying more for the rest of the house.

I have looked and looked for true blackout and thermal curtains. Many claim to be but are not lined. These are thick curtains with a black liner sewen to the back. I hung a couple of panels next to my old curtains and what a difference! I could fully see light through the old curtains, but nothing through these. And when I pull the curtain back on a warm day, I can feel the temperature difference. They are a little wrinkled out of the package (to be expected). I got one of the longer curtains because the window I needed covered is pretty tall and wide about 10 ft wide or so. Well once this was put up not only did it completely black out the room but also has noise reduction. The back side is black the front side is white or whatever color you get it. At night we can’t see anything through it unless the curtains are split. First, let me start by saying I left a couple inches at the bottom so they wouldn't gather cat hair haha I'm a revolving shift worker - some days I work 6a-2p, some days I work 2a-10a.. so I need darkness when I'm forcing myself to sleep at 4 in the afternoon. That being said, I am EXTREMELY picky about blackout curtains - if they say "blackout" they MUST block most of the light. The gaps at the bottom are my choice since... you know, cats. I purchased these Lavender Pink curtains to block out the light coming in from my sliding glass patio door, and as you can see from the pictures there a slight hint of light coming through the fabric (my door is facing NE, and it's currently 4:30p). I'm honestly impressed. I can tell it's also taking the edge off the noise from outside and cutting back on some of the heat coming in as well. Also, the pictures don't do the color justice - it's very much a light rosy pink. I'd say they're a couple steps away from being pastel. TL;DR? Get them, they're legit! ... show more
