I have been on the search for a new hairspray since Aussie changed their can and apparently formula too for their flexible hairspray. I have tried SO many since then and they all left my hair sticky, stiff, clumpy, and all felt more like a strong hold hair spray in my opinion. This however gives that perfect hold you need without changing the feel of your hair. It still feels soft to the touch and you can run your fingers through it. The one and only negative to it is the strong smell while spraying it on your hair. But like I said the product itself is great so the smell doesn’t even matter to me. ... show more

The Nexxus Comb Thru Hairspray is a lightweight, brushable hairspray that holds lightly. I love it because it's not sticky or stiff. Has a pleasant odor when sprayed but that smell dissapates quickly.

This Nexxus Flexible Hold Hairspray works really great and keeps my hair in place while feeling soft and natural. I love being able to brush through my hair without feeling like it is stiff or sticky. The lightweight formula adds just enough hold without weighing hair down. This does exactly what you think it will do -- good hold you can comb through. HOWEVER, it has a strong old-lady hairspray smell! If you were looking to bring back a scent reminiscent of the '80s, lemme suggest Love's Baby Soft or Rain... and NOT Gramma Heading to Church. I'll keep it bc it's a bit of a pain to return, but I won't be purchasing it again. ... show more

I have been using the Nexxus Comb Thru Finishing Spray Hair Spray for a few years. I have thin, fine, straight fly-away hair that does not stay in place. Curling my hair results in limp waves before I am even finished curling it. I always have to use some type of hair spray even when I leave my hair straight just to keep it from flying all around. I started using the Nexxus Comb Thru Finishing Spray when a friend recommended it. I LOVE IT!!!!! The finishing spray is light-weight, is NOT sticky, it DOES NOT even look like I have it sprayed on. There is NO obnoxious smell to it like other hair sprays have. It has a very light scent that goes away right after spraying it on. The best parts are that it gives me a natural hold because you can't see it on my hair, no sticky residue. My hair moves, but doesn't fly around as much. My curls or waves last longer and at the end of the day, I just brush or comb my hair and it is much easier to do. I start at the ends and work my way up so I don't get any hair breakage (remember my thin hair will break if I comb just down). There is no sticky residue left, so when sleeping I don't get any gunk on my pillow and don't wake up with any hair matted on my head. Since it is so lightweight styling my hair the next day is easier because it adds a little volume to my thin hair, but my hair doesn't stick to the curling iron which is great. It is safe for color treated hair and doesn't change the color (I am a bottle blonde lol). I am very pleased with this finishing spray. ... show more
