It's a great product of 2000A power for a great price. Here is what I like about it: 1) It arrived promptly AND shrink wrapped! So, it's good to know I get a brand new item. 2) It comes with a carry case. 3) Fairly easy to use, although I haven't jumped start a car yet. The only thing that could be better is that the input (on the device) for the jumper cable could be color coded to be red and black, but, instead you would need to look very closely that one of the input holes has a straight edge and the other is fully circular. ... show more

Wouldn't start a vehicle with a very dead battery. This unit has come in handy multiple times. Starts lawn tractor, cars with a weak battery, cell phones and keeps its charge when stowed for long periods. If you left you lights on it's a life saver.

It is so easy to use and gives you such peace of mind. The best thing is you do not have to beg someone to help you jump your car if you are out somewhere. I came out of Wal-Mart one day and my battery needed jumped. Pulled this out, and within 3 minutes I was done and heading out of the parking lot (only took me this long because I had to put the hood up, attach this, walk to the driver's side, jump in, start the car and then reverse the process. Works great! This is the 2nd one of these I bought. Loved the 1st so got a 2nd for my other car. Light weight, multiple jumps from a single charge. Holds charge a very long time. The flashlight & USB ports are bonuses. I think the case could be a little smaller, but not bad.

If your female, you do not need someone to help you, you can say, no thank you and send them on their way. Older cars sometimes have batteries that just quit! I have several older cars, all of which need a jump from time to time. I was researching jump starters and decided to try this based on reviews. I just tried it with a completely dead battery in a 93 Ford F-150 with a stone cold 4.9L straight six. Third crank and the truck fired up! I'm super impressed and glad I bought it. It's easy to use and clear with directions. The only whine I have is it would be nice if the battery clamps were just a bit bigger. Now the test is to see how it holds a charge while sitting on a shelf. I'll update if I have any additional input to contribute, but my initial thoughts are that this is a solid buy. ... show more

Seller offered another jump pack for $12. less that would have been fine for my needs the same day I placed my order. My bad, I waited and weighed other deals for more than a week, then, the minute I chose this G17 another is offered with very similar features for 12 bucks less. Ooch!
