This is the best option to have if your battery is dead. Set it up and jump start all with out the cables and a second vehicle. You never know where and when your battery might die and if there will be help nearby or even cell service if you are in a remote place. It is also nice to have in case you run out of power on your phone. I’ve gone through many of these jump boxes but never have I received one with such a nice sturdy carrying case. This is well made and in our family of multiple size vehicles, this will come in handy. About a week after I received the battery pack my buddies pick up with a power stroke engine battery died. So I didn’t even have a chance to charge it from when i first got it . Tested this on a battery that was not fully charged for my boat. Worked like a charm. Gives me some reassurance when out on the water as I don't have to worry about a dead battery. The media could not be loaded. My old car was just sitting in my driveway for past 1 year when I tried to start the car, the car would not start. I ask couple of my neighbors and friends to give me jump but the car did not start despite trying 3 different times from 3 different vehicle's. Then I order this jump starter. When I connected this to my car battery, literally it took about 2 to 3 minutes for it to charge the battery. When I started the car it started to my surprise. I was very surprised because I was not expecting this small size to start my battery. The Build quality of this car charger Is excellent. I love how lightweight and portable this car charger is. It has a battery life indicator and also comes with a LED light which is pretty bright in the dark. Charging this car charger does take time because of the large capacity It holds to charge the cars. If you have a family member who is not familiar with how to jump their vehicles or have vehicles older than 3 years or so, you would want to consider getting one of these and train them on how to safely and quickly jump their vehicles in case the batteries fail.
