Used it for the first time today and wow. Really good jump rope (hopefully it lasts). I’ve been through numerous jump ropes from 5 to 100$, and I wanna say this one feels just right. It is well built, soft handles with good swivels and good pvc/metal rope. If you are looking to become or if you are a boxing style jump roper, I would say this is the right jump rope for you for instance side swings , cross overs, double unders, etc; now, if you are a Buddy Lee type of a jump roper looking for fast tricks, you could use this jump rope, but you would feel the jump rope to be on the heavier side. Because of the weight of the rope, you can really feel the rope revolution while jump roping, and that’s really important to me (boxer style). Plus, it’s 20 bucks, a fraction of the more expensive jump ropesthat cost 100$ or over (Ouch). Wow just wrote a bible... hope this helps. ... show more

I'm 5'6.5 and these are the perfect jump ropes for me. Haven't needed to adjust them. The rope is great quality (not plastic) and will hurt your leg if you miss a jump (good motivation!). The handles are super sleek with silicone material for good grip. I dont think too much about them which means they're that comfortable. The coating of the ropes makes me think dirt might get stuck on it if jumping outside. Nothing like a wet towel to easily clean it. Highly recommend. ... show more

This jump hope feels high quality. The handles feel like real aluminum and they have a weight to them with out really being weighted and they have a grippy coating on them. The cord is a perfect weight for learning tricks and for beginners, the weight lets you know where the rope is during the jump. I did have to hang it outside in the sun for a few hours to straighten the rope after shipping but I've had to do that with every jump rope ive gotten so thats no big deal. This rope works really well. The quality of the rope seems quite good, there's some cover on top of the steel rope. The rope length is adjustable, and handle rotates quite smoothly, not easy to tangle or break. There's also a bag coming with it. We think the price is reasonable for the quality. Only thing missing though, is the counting function. Would be great to have a counting jump rope with same quality. Solid. These seem slightly shorter than advertised.The 10' length is not 10' of rope. But it IS the right size for a 6' to 6'-6" user. Or maybe too long. Seems very good. Comes with a little bag. Good ball bearing action, nice weight. I went to several websites to check length. If you stand on rope with one foot and pull up handles to the lower part of your chest, length is good for a beginner. Too long is clumsy and too short tricky. Easy to adjust, and with wire cutters you could always shorten these beyond internal adjustment within handles. ... show more

Is not intended as speed rope for Crossfit, but I prefer the material to be slightly heavier. Awesome handles and nice weight not to light or heavy. The rope itself is made of, again, a medium weight material and it doesn't tangle. Excellent for beginners but not for doubleunders.
