Ok it arrived super fast and is a well built piece. Is it worth the additional price of a traditional bag? I would say definitely no if you don't get the IPHONE integrated version as otherwise it is just a double ended bag with a nice frame. The IPHONE deal works flawlessly overtime so far and even the kids love it. It makes the workout interesting which is why you are buying an expensive bag over a $50 tied to your rafters and a weight on the floor. The one problem I have as a beginner is the bag is very fast even on the least tension setting. You can't bob back and fourth with the bag it is just bouncing back way to fast for a beginner or maybe even other levels. If you jab the bag as fast as you can jab again the bag is there, it is like a speed bag. Hard to develop a routine. You and up timing the bag vs using aim and position recognition. Think of turning your head as you keep hitting a speed bag at a set pace. You can do it all day unless you change pace or switch hands. The fix??? I simply went to HD and bought some links to add length to the bungy cord and it has helped take the rebound speed out of the bag. I like getting into a routine while the bag is just bobbing on barely any tension and then when i advance I pull a little more speed into it. I will update in a couple months but as of now if you have the money? it is about the same any other card machine so??? *************************************************************UPDATE!!!!************************************************************ Ok almost 3 years later and this thing is great workout. My original bag gave up about a year in but they has a better replacement bag. The new bag has better air inlet and just feels better I reread my orig comments about the bag being too fast and I will say it was because the nylon bungee reacts differently then other styles. Once you get used to it there is no issues. I do like the adjustable strap which does effect the quickness of the bag. I would still like the bag to wander a little more rather than be so predictable. The sensor is still working although i broke an iPad with a punch. the mouthing bracket should be very low so you look down or up at it vs being in punching harms way. $150 lesson now i leave on a table near the machine. For a punching bag set up to last this long is pretty impressive. I am not a boxer and 3 years ago 3 rounds was exhausting now 12-15 rounds for a fat 50 year old man trying to stay alive is a good gain in my eyes. NOTHING relieves tension like this thing!!!! ... show more

    • Very unreliable. Bluetooth sensor easily quits. Bladder doesn't hold air.
I ordered commercial version and hardware is solid, but it's where it ends. The rope is very easy, feels almost flimsy and the sensor quits after just about 1 or two hours of training. The compartment for the sensor is poorly designed, has 90 degrees corners and if you use combined routine, including crosses, and in mma style gloves you can easily hurt your knuckles. The ball doesn't hold pressure and you need to pupm it every. 3-5 minutes literally, and I'm not exaggerating. Anyways it's mascarading as a training equipment. I requested replacement from the company and they promptly sent another sensor and a bag, unfortunately I couldn't inflate its bladder at all with the pump provided. ... show more

I purchased this about a month ago, and have really enjoyed using it. Amazon shipping was fast as usual and assembly was simple since the bolts and nuts are pre-organized by assembly step, which I wish more companies did. The integration with the app is great and I really enjoy the workouts. Since I workout in my garage, it's great to be able to move this thing around when I need the space for other projects. I'm a foot taller than my wife, so it's nice to be able to easily adjust the bag height so that she can use it as well. Even my 8 year old likes to get in front of it and take a few swings with the bag at his level. The bladder in the bag developed a slow leak about a week ago, and I emailed Nexersys support to discuss a replacement. They responded to my email in less than 10 minutes (Thanks Terry!) and immediately sent a replacement, which really impressed me. Again, I wish more companies had this approach to customer service. For HIIT training that is fun and develops accuracy and speed at the same time, you'd have a hard time finding a better product. ... show more

First off, the quality of the metal stand seems great. It feels very high quality and heavy duty. Unfortunately I can't assess the quality of the punching bag or any of the other parts because I couldn't finish set up. Problems with the set up: 1) I spent over two hours fiddling with the stand to try to get all the parts to properly fit, putting pieces together then redoing it because the next pieces can't fit. The problem is that the stand has this tripod base joint where you have the fit 3 different pieces together. This is fine, except that the fitting is SUPER finicky. I'd line them up so they all theoretically fit with the holes, but then they somehow don't line up properly to fit. And it's extremely hard to get it right because you're pulling in and out heavy metal tubes at 3 different angles with a need for precision. I don't know if I got unlucky getting tubes that may have been off. 2) 2 hours later, I eventually just let it be enough wonkily fit together and I tried to see if I can get the rest of the punching bag in place. I learned that the rope I was provided was too short, so the punching bag was way too high up. 3) I called Nexersys support, the guy on the phone said he doesn't do support of the set up. So... What are the phone support supposed to be for?? He directed me to their email support, so I grudgingly went that route. Days later and after a few back and forth, it felt like the guy on the email wasn't even trying to help or understand. He'd give me quick 1-2 sentence replies and that were not helpful and that was that. I eventually gave up and returned this massive beast, which was a major pain in itself to haul back. I bought this to practice punching things again. After going through all this, I NEEDED to punch something. Unfortunately, I'm out of a punching bag to punch. ... show more

I dont give a 10 because few things. the ipad or cellular holder arent secure to use. i broke my ipad when i was punching and the vibration made the ipad go down. the "Water / Sand" base isnt enought to hold it in place. im using a light to middle power and the base keep bouncing on the floor, i had to add 40lbs more to make it stable. ... show more
