So far this has held up pretty well. It's not meant for rugs which it's on in my home. I just didn't install the auction cups. It does move around but not much. I won't hit it full strength as because it's on a rug I feel it'll fall over. I filled mine with water. So striking it moves the base and water does come out of the rubber seal over the fill hole. I'll be switching to sand to take care of that. The quality is pretty good as well. Though I feel that if I strike it along the seam that there may be a weakness there. So I'm keeping that in mind. The workout with this has been wonderful! The gloves are not comfortable for me so I bought mma type gloves which are much better and they have wrist wraps for added protection. Overall it's a great bag for beginners who don't need to put 100% of their strength into. When, over time, i beat this thing into needing another. I will buy again. ... show more

I just got into boxing and I needed a way to work on my skills whenever I couldn’t make it to class. The bag was super easy to assemble. It came with all the pieces you needed to put together. I filled my base with water as I wanted a bit of mobility whenever I had to move it and didn’t want to deal with the mess of sand. It feels really sturdy even with water. Sure it would be sturdier with sand but I’m satisfied with the minimal movement of the base with water. The bag looks great and it stands at a great height. I can relieve some stress and punch it pretty hard and know I won’t easily break it. I’m pretty sure that anyone of any age can use it and if you need it to be sturdier there are ways to do so. I was gifted this back in 2021 and have used it religiously for three years. It stands up great for kickboxing and I recommend you use sand. Recently it started splitting at the top of the base which may have been from my own ignorance and not checking the tightness of the springs and rubber bushings. I believe making sure Those are correctly tightened, puts less strain on the actual base which caused it to crack and split away. I contacted FitVen To inquire about purchasing just a base. They intern went right ahead and shipped me a new base at no charge. It arrived two days later so I am more than impressed with not only the product but also the service. ... show more

I love this product so far. For what I bought it for, just work out purposes, it’s great. I’m not a boxer so I cant provide that type of detail here, but for anyone just wanting to punch and work up a sweat, it will work for you. The gloves included with this so far have been fine but I suspect they are probably more on the cheap side compared to if I bought my own set of gloves. Again I’m not a boxer and my use for this is just to burn calories and get a workout in so take that for what it’s worth. Overall no issues and has done what I needed this product for. Assembly was easy and I weighted it down with sand instead of water. I used a bigger water bottle for a funnel and had my wife hold the funnel inside as I poured the sand in. That’s a little bit of work but not sure of any other way to do it and from other reviews, seems to be how most done it. Great product overall. ... show more

Wifey got me this for Christmas and I love it! We were a little confused on what to fill it with. So we checked out the reviews and saw that lots of people used sand! SHOUT OUT TO Ed for mentioning that you need FOUR BAGS of ALL PURPOSE SAND. BUT I had to make my own funnel because every funnel I had was too narrow at the bottom. So I included pictures of my own personal version of a sand funnel. The barcodes are for part identification. You can find these parts at any home improvement store(Lowes, Home Depot, Ace). Once we had that, the rest was smooth sailing. We love the included gloves. They can fit either of us. Me 6'5" 280 lbs her 5'6" ~160 lbs. Now I've hit this bag with a pretty heavy punch. It wobbles but it won't fall down. I also bought a office chair mat for the suction cups, that makes it even more sturdy. Be warned if you use sand it will make a mess. Before you start filling it, put down a tarp or mat to catch the excess sand. Then clean up is a breeze. I must say that we love this punching bag. It hasn't disappointed us at all ... show more

I like that its pretty small. Can fit in a small place and not take up a whole corner or require a ceiling mount. I dislike that even with 100 lbs of sand in its base moves pretty easily. Suction cups dont stick at all. Tried on time and cement. If you try to put it on a smooth surface physic does its thing and that smooth surface falls over unless it's also well grounded. Good for convience and warm up. But i will save up for a propper heavy bag. ... show more
