We bought this for our sons (4 & 2) for Christmas and they are in love! It's still working perfectly fine. Battery life is normal for this kind of electric car. They would drive it around the yard all day if they could. I wish the keys didn't come out of the toy because you can't turn it on without them and my 4 year old loses them all the time, it's a headache! My son is obsessed with his "trash truck" He enjoys riding on it. It wasn't too difficult to put together. Make sure you charge it completely and that the arrows are set to forward or backwards cuz when it's in the middle it doesn't start and honestly that startled us.

We have dished out and bought two of these. Huge flaw in there is that all the electronics are face up and gets filled with water, even morning dew, and fries the electrical circuits. Both of our dump trucks are less than a year old and both do not work now be a use of this and we are out $600. I can't even find on Amazon how to communicate with the seller. The batteries are good, we can hear it attempting to run when the gas pedal is pressed but the electoral is fried somewhere in between. Huge mechanical flaw since it had happened to BOTH of ours. Save your money and buy the John deere ride on. We have had it for 5 years and it has been used and abused and still works great. VERY disappointed with this toy especially since they were so expensive. ... show more

    • Great Truck, Great Price
This truck was rather simple to put together even with my 2 year climbing all over it and myself during assembly. My husband and I were able to get this put together in about an hour with all the distractions of my son being wild in between. My main complaint is that the button on the dash is backwards, for "forward" actually makes it go in reverse and "back" actually makes it go forward. I do not have any batteries at the moment and will have to pick some up before I can test if that will be the same for the remote control. My son loved it as soon as it came out of the box without it being assembled. He has plenty of room to grow with this truck for quite a few years to come if it holds up. Could easily fit two smaller children, he is two and my niece is three they fit together with a bit of wiggle room at that. I do wish the steering was not centered since there is room for two children and two seatbelts. The truck has some "get up and go" to it for sure so be careful of the little ones taking off too fast or possibly hitting something and falling out, make sure they wear the seatbelts provided for that reason. The music is a great addition that my son really loves. The latch on the dump bed and using the joystick at the same time is a bit too advanced for smaller children. I will likely have to disassemble and take the latch out for the time being because my son loves raising and lowering the dump bed on this truck. The shovel is a great addition to really finish off the look of this truck. I will recommend this to family and friends. ... show more
