This is one of the softest blankets I have ever had. And the choice of colors is pretty terrific. I needed another because my son borrowed mine one time and didn't want to give it up ! It looks great on my room, washes well and keeps me warm but isn't too heavy .. I am very happy with them

    • I am confused about some of the negative vs. positive reviews, here's why-->

I HATE lint and I don't tolerate it. So, I was hesitant to buy this because of the lint and pilling complaints on this blanket. But I got two of them. I got these two (I have more now-some from other vendors) for furniture throws because of nice upholstery and big, bouncy drooler dogs who play outside and love dirt. Do the math. I got these because I figured they'd be easy/quick/lightweight to wash and return to the furniture and I even got two of each so I'd always be covered. First thing I did was toss them in the washer. Two kings actually fit in the washer at one time too, so bonus! Okay, super lightweight as synthetic (fake cloth? hah) tends to be but hey, these are not for when Royalty visits. And, in fact, to date, no Royalty has visited, but lots of neighbor dogs have, so there. No lint or shedding in the dryer, NONE I tell you and none in the washer (This review is for the "Brown"/king although it's more of a medium-light beige) Tossed them on the furniture and voila! It's happening. So far they don't tend to slide and hold in place well and do (almost*) all the things I'd expect *Almost - okay, if doggy has a long drooling night with lots of slobber and dreams, which has not happened yet, but this would more than likely not prevent some moisture going through - it's thin (but fluffy for as thin as it is!) and while this is cheap, it feels fabulous against the skin and my friend commented on the luxe feel of them - but overall I'd rank - (for the price - you get what you pay for) at FIVE STARS - My negative comment - which is ONLY A GUESS from reading the negative reviews is that the secret is in the color and/or sizing. Those who get lots of lint and crap in their throws must, in my opinion only, but they must be getting a different material/fabric than what I got. It does not even sound like what I got. So, caveat emptor = and good luck. Fortunately, amazon takes returns. That's why I'm here all the time! :-) If you need one of these, take the risk, if you get a dud, try another color or size? ... show more

Product arrived fast! I was surprised by how soft this piece was. Passed expectations. I originally ordered for my son to use at an overnight school camp to use later for a couch blanket. I’m pleased with the color, softness, light weight and size (twin). Hoping the durability of washing and use holds up.
