The temp has stayed at the lowest at 38 degrees which has kept all drinks very cold.     • Excellent fridge after some tweaks

I received this NewAir beverage fridge on 01/22/23 and was very impressed with its construction and features (digital thermostat, capacity, etc). I initially placed this in my living room roughly 6 feet from my couch. As many others have mentioned, I quickly noticed the odd "warbling" and/or pigeon sounds this unit would make. It was extremely noticeable and hard to ignore. Additionally, I noticed that it wasn't maintaining a constant temperature, despite my following all of the instructions for first use. For context, I also have a 2 tap kegerator in my living room that is roughly the same size and it barely makes a peep. After messing with the feet and trying to level it properly, I grew frustrated and figured that I would just have to live with the annoying sound that would occur almost every 20 minutes or so. The other day, however, it dawned on me that my placement of the unit wasn't ideal. I had placed it in front of a window and next to my balcony door, which I tend to keep open when it's nice out. The constant sunlight and outdoor temps were probably messing with this unit, I hypothesized. By simply moving the unit from the window and into a corner of the room, almost immediately the noises stopped! The fridge also started keeping a constant temperature, much to my delight. Additionally, I purchased a small stand to place the unit onto, since it helps airflow and raises the unit a few inches off the ground (easier for stocking). I'm convinced that moving it away from a constant source of sunlight/outdoor air made all the difference. The stand has most likely also helped, since now it is super quiet and runs perfectly. To anyone having these issues - be sure to check where you have it located and consider putting it on a stand (which makes it easier to level, as well). All in all, after these minor tweaks, this fridge has been an excellent purchase! ... show more

    • Check your box printer. It says 28"W. That is BOX size, not UNIT.

Actual unit size is correct. The Box printing is NOT correct. Gives width of Box (28"), not unit (23.4"). lol. Almost sent it back as too wide until we measured the box at 28" and figured the unit would be smaller inside.

    • THE DOOR IS NOT TRULY REVERSIBLE

Despite what the manual and the description on this very Amazon page, the door is NOT truly reversible. I like Susan N. found that the door cannot be reversed due to poor planning and craftsmanship/forethought. If you try to reverse the door to a left swing, you will find that 1) The handle that is merely a recessed slot on the edge of the door will be right next to the floor, as it is on the top right as sold. 2) The NEWAIR tag will be displayed upside down, it is rather prominent so it would definitely be an eyesore. 3) The holes are not finished/threaded where the "new hinge placement" would be if you revered it, and they are full of insulation and apparently glue/epoxy 4) If you remove the bottom hinge to put it on thee other side, it doesn't match up well. 5) There is only 1 adjustable leg for leveling this unit, nothing at all on the back, and the one on the right front is not adjustable. 6) It is CRAZY noisy until it reaches temp, like scare the cats noisy, and then if you have it open for a minute like to load it, it does the same noise until it reaches the set temp. 7) The light at the top of the unit does a great job of lighting the first row (top shelf), but that is as far as it will go, the remaining products are in the dark pretty much. Also, the light is manually operated, if you can finally locate the tiny button to turn it on, it is located at the edge of the lens. 8) THIS IS THE BIG ONE FOR ME!! NOWHERE on all these reviews here on Amazon do I DO NOT see a response from the Newair company addressing the concerns of the customers. No resolution offers or actual resolution at all, the optics of that is terrible. I also see several reviews stating that theirs stopped working, not cooling and even makes a better oven than refrigerator, again, not a peep from Newair. The representative I spoke with Camilla was very helpful but basically told me my only option is either to live with the upside down door or return the unit to Amazon. Tell me how long a company can continue with a business/marketing plan like that, not for long for sure. I will speak with the person I bought the unit from and see if she wants to return the unit in the coming days, we have only had it 5 days, so there is still time to send it back. ... show more

We have had our mini fridge for a few months now. It works fine but it's loud. You can hear it click on and off throughout the day and night with a long humming sound.
