I have put in several high dollar programmable thermostats over the years. All have had issues with connectivity and programming, turned into PIA...     • The room temperature displayed is 3 deg F high.
This was an easy an install as could be expected replacing your old thermostat. After turning on my furnace and air conditioning I was chagrined to see that the room temperature displayed was seriously in error. That does not effect the ability to regulate the temperature in the room. Right now I am using it to good effect. However, it says the room temperatur is 76F when in fact two other thermomenters right next to it show exactly 73 degrees. So I have to mentally subtract 3 degrees from the display when setting what temperature I want. I would have thought that this would have been a no brainer to build since thermometers sold on Amazon are within 0.2 degrees of each other. I would like to just order another one and just plug it in, but I hesitate because I am guessing they are all inaccurate. I will wait a year and see if a new one gets more accurate. ... show more
