    • Compact and useful
It works well when connecting two speakons together to extend their length. I prefer speakons to XLRs by far because XLRs tend to pull away from the adapter and need to be soldered back together. The one advantage XLRs have is that they can be chained together, as they have a male and female end. That's where this coupler comes in. ... show more

Works just like you expect. Turns two 25' cables into a 50' cable. I always carry some of these so that I can extend cables for longer runs. The ability to combine shorter cables allows me to better match the size of my cable to the required run so that I have less excess cable mess.

Feels good/sturdy. The lock works smoothly (and seems like a good idea). And it worked (I had the expected music coming out of the speaker after connecting a 20' cable to a 100' cable).

I find this connector very helpful in environments where you have a speakOn cable from a speaker that needs to be connected to speakOn cable
